  1. Dr. David Chao on Movin' the Chains SiriusXM NFL Radio just said if he were a betting man, he would say Josh will miss 1-2 games to let the UCL heal. But no surgery or anything like that. If this were the playoffs, Josh would play.
  2. I think the game would end mid-play with the pick?? Not sure, but after each team has the ball once in OT with one team leading, the game is over.
  3. I think perception may be skewed for some fans, as other teams seem to make long FG's against us, like Zuerlein today with a 53-yarder, Matt Gay with a 57-yarder in Week 1, Boswell of Pittsburgh with a 50-yarder, Justin Tucker with a 51-yarder, and Butker of KC with a 62-yarder earlier this year. Why do teams make so many long FG's against us?
  4. You made a good point, but I'd be careful about the last sentence, especially when replying to a moderator.
  5. Yep, and in a thread after the draft he said Sauce Gardner would smack the crap out of our "surfer-boy" QB . He was right.
  6. Have to hand it to you. You called it right. We'll see you later at Highmark.
  7. There was some analyst named Nate (didn't catch his last name) on the Bills post-game radio show that said Knox has been invisible this season, despite his high salary. He also said the Bills desperately missed Beasley. He also said this was the first badly-called game of Dorsey (who was in the running last week for coordinator of the year on one show of SiriusXM NFL Radio). Then a caller said the Bills need to spend an early pick on a speed/outside WR who can make plays.
  8. LOL...who's "Jack"?! 😄 I guess I'm old. Alex (RIP) used to be the host of Jeopardy. But maybe you know something I don't!
  9. Brandon Beane appeared on Movin' The Chains with Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller on SiriusXM NFL Radio yesterday. I don't know if there is a link I can post since it is a subscription service. This is a summary of much of what he said (I am paraphrasing): 1. He doesn't think the trade deadline should be pushed back two weeks to the Monday before Thanksgiving like Kirwan and Miller believe. The reason is this would encourage teams to tank as they would know they could unload their guys later in the season for a bunch of picks. He also said he does not want an average team going shopping late and then becoming competitive with stacked teams who have done their work all year long. He said he agreed though it would be great for fans and the media if the deadline were extended. 2. Gabe Davis is one of the hardest workers he knows. He almost trains too hard. He got sent a video by one of the trainers he knows saying "your guy [Davis] is working out on Independence Day!". He worked very hard in the off-season, especially in the five weeks between mini-camp and training camp, and you could see the results. Beane told him he needs to take a day off once in a while. 3. He will advocate in the league meetings at the end of the season that the active roster be increased to at least 50. Nowadays, players are being ruled out very quickly due to concussions and ataxia. They learned a lot form the COVID years. At the Miami game, they were down to only four offensive linemen at the end of the game. Tommy Doyle played the last four or five plays on a bad ACL since he knew there were no other options. Beane had never seen anything like it, with so many players ruled out because of dehydration. He was never prouder of his guys, even though they lost. He saw they gave it their all. At the very least, he wants a rule like the old emergency third QB rule (which was in place in the 90's), where a player dresses but is inactive, and can become active mid-game only if a player is ruled out and has to stay out. Some teams objected in the past to this because with an expanded roster some teams would be able to field more players than others. But Beane said nowadays everyone has a huge PS, so that shouldn't matter. 4. He is thrilled with Marlowe's acquisition. He knew him from the Carolina years, and he is a hard worker who already knows McD's and Frazier's system. [He also said something positive about Hines, but I forgot what he said.]
  10. Not sure if this has already been posted:
  11. I unfortunately get Las Vegas at Jacksonville, while most of the nation gets Buffalo. Also agree with your assessment of LA at Tampa Bay, but I guess Brady is still a huge draw.

  13. It happens. A girl at my gym peed herself while doing a deadlift yesterday. She came back with a mop at the end of her session to clean it up. Then today another girl peed herself while doing a squat. She also returned later with a mop.
  14. The OP should be happy. Can this thread be locked now?!
  15. For once, the AFC just got weaker.
  16. This is one of only two games this week between winning teams, the other being Tennessee at Kansas City Sunday night. (The national 4 PM game of the week is the LA Rams at Tampa Bay, lol.)
  17. Buffalo wins vs. Green Bay for the first time with Josh Allen as QB! McD is 6-0 after a bye week and Green Bay fails to pass Chicago for most all-time franchise wins.
  18. This post is going to get lost. Better to post on: https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/forum/11-customer-service/ or start a separate thread.
  19. Makes up for 20 years of being screwed by the refs.
  20. Hunt is not a McBeane type high-character guy.
  21. Washington over Carolina. Ehlinger making his first-ever pro start. Jets over Patriots. Giants over Seahawks.
  22. The last time I taped a show was with a VCR. Worked flawlessly. I guess people don't use these anymore. 😂
  23. Does it have to be a player? If not, may I suggest analysts Chris Collinsworth, Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw, Rex Ryan, Teddy Bruschi, and Jimmy Johnson. Oh, and for players, Gronkowski and Kamara.
