  2. Wish we had an "Around the NFL" sub-forum for this type of thread. It doesn't belong on The Stadium Wall. There are a lot of these types of threads that don't belong on TSW.
  3. I wish I had more hands so I could give this idea FOUR THUMBS DOWN! Lynn was as clueless a HC as I have seen in this league. We can do better for OC, if we need one.
  4. This is pretty good. I wish you updated and modified the song even more than you did.
  5. I have watched a number of games this year, with limited crowd sizes, and been amazed at the raw volume of fan noise I seem to be hearing through the TV. I know some of that is being coordinated/controlled on the technical end by the network, but it seems to me 7,000 fans can actually make a lot of noise. I'll be looking forward to it all week!
  6. Assuming he'll get his choice of jobs, this probably won't be the one he selects!
  7. Did you notice that it improved greatly and ended top 5? There is a reason we are on a huge win streak and things are going well. 😂
  8. I think he is popular in Miami and they are not looking to move on from him. The CW is that he will be a good one, at least within that organization. That 3rd overall pick, and 2 in the top 20 is going to really help Miami next year if they pick wisely. They will be more of a concern for us, sooner, than New England will IMO.
  9. LOL! He just turned 39 about a month ago. I know you were being a little hyperbolic for effect. Made me laugh out loud.
  10. Rivers blows hot and cold. He can still be effective, but I have seen him look like his arm is totally shot too. He can be prone to accuracy issues and the velocity is not there anymore on some throws. A nice cold day is going to bother him. Hopefully our offense can set the pace and put TDs on the board early and often, forcing Rivers to have to keep pace, which I don't think he can do at this point in his career.
  11. His punt today that went out of bounds on about the 1 foot line was a thing of absolute beauty. Total perfection in a punt.
  12. I think we were a more dominant, complete team, and probably the best in the entire league at the end of the 1990 season, going into SB XXV against the Giants. This time period right now feels close for me though! We are on a huge win streak, we seem really relaxed in a very healthy, positive way, and we have a QB who can win it all and win tough games against teams with great QBs themselves. Enjoy it!
  13. Try to loosen up a little. This is a "let's have some fun" thread, so why not have some fun? We haven't had a fun spell in Bills fandom like this in 25 years. Enjoy it while it lasts.
  14. "We get no respect" is the favorite whining mantra of the Bills fan. Let that crap go people! We have the best team we've had in 25 years and real shot at winning the Super Bowl, this year. Enjoy it!
  15. At halftime of Sunday Night Football, Rodney Harrison said the team most likely to be able to beat KC in the AFC is....the Buffalo Bills. Offense is hot, defense is back to playing well, and he loves the way our safeties play. Tony Dungy said we were "red hot" as an entire team in all 3 phases of the game.
  16. I was thinking the exact same thing. If we win, maybe even comfortably, I'll settle into all remaining games over the weekend and enjoy each thoroughly. If we lose, I probably won't want to watch more football. Luckily, I think we will win and maybe even by quite a lot.
  17. The 2 teams are nothing close to one another as far as quality of opponent goes. Indy looks like a "just happy to be there" first round loser kind of team. Tennessee scares the crap out of me. It is FANTASTIC that Ravens or Titans will have to lose next week.
  18. My "big 3" feared teams are Titans, KC, and Baltimore. It is convenient that one of Titans and Ravens have to lose before we would get them.
  19. Josh looks like he's ready to play, and that's a mistake. Let's hope it doesn't cost us.
  20. I think we have plenty of room to be able to upgrade our backup QB position. But it has nothing to do with the big names that are going to change teams after this year. Those names will not seek backup positions anyway.
  21. If that's supposed to mean Josh and the best players are sitting, thank goodness! Will make for a boring, anti-climatic game, but who the hell cares! It's all about next weekend and beyond now folks!
  22. A lot of folks have mentioned things like this the last few weeks, who gets what record, stats-oriented concerns, and so on. I agree with you, that is not a valid concern. The only rub is if a player has a bonus incentive written in his K for achieving X and he would be able to earn the bonus if he plays today but not achieve it if he doesn't. That situation gets a little sticky for the team. But in general, stuff like who gets the "W" or "L", who breaks X yards on the year, and so on......WHO THE HECK CARES!
