How about waiting to see who is available among HCs and OCs among the guys who get fired day after season ends? The best man available might well be in that pool. I would push for experience and a veteran who has proven he can win, if that man exists this off-season. if not, give Ben Johnson a shot at it. why not?

I WOULD LOVE for this to be accurate, but I don't think it is. I think the odds of him returning are MUCH better than that.

Of course this is correct. THE REALITY: McDermott has more fear that he will lose the game in that situation on a turnover, than he has confidence/desire to go down the field and take the game.

Most people will not join where I've been for a couple of years. This was a classic big, close, exciting game...that the Bills lose. It's what McDermott does. Get rid of him THIS YEAR and get the rebuild going sooner than later.

Nice start against the Jets, but it was way premature to assume we are headed for some type of miraculous turnaround. We almost damned near need to win out to get in.
