Greg Buck captures Bills “fans only” meeting
Nextmanup replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
For those who may not know, Greg Bauch has done a ton of these types of clips over the years where he is the old time sports announcer. He's a funny guy. "There are people jumping through tables....there are people making love...and there is so much urine!" LOL -

I think there is a solid shot we go 8-9 for the season. I have seen the road to the playoffs and it looks like this:
-
Listening to Ross Tucker on GR-55 right now. He just said: "I do know this. When you are start making changes at coordinator...if it does't work, you're next." Oh please let this be true.
-
Nah.

Most of those cars are leased, not owned. And you have to remember most Americans have debt problems.
-
And we just fired the OC! See...bad karma.
-
IT's a great time to get rid of McDermott, too, for this reason. We are in for a period of upheaval no matter what. Why not kill 2 birds with one stone and get it all done now, with the new guy making these decisions so he doesn't have to just reverse them next year when McD gets fired then.

Yolo? You're alive? Where'd you go?

Does Anyone Miss Daboll and Frazier?
Nextmanup replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Many have echoed this thought around here ever since Daboll left. Maybe we can get our wish at the end of this year, if Daboll is getting fired. Fire McD and bring in Daboll to be the HC here. I'm afraid Daboll won't be fired, however. -
At one point in time, a while ago, he was considered by some to be a new, hot young thing, comping out of LSU. His career kind of derailed in Carolina where he was part of a losing regime, and never really got much experience...then he ended up here. I would expect no improvement over Dorsey; they are both cut from the same cloth.

It's just idiotic Sean "meathead football guy" McDermott coaching. He also thought punting to the best punt return guy in the league, over and over, was a good idea too. 70 some punt return yards later and an entire game of good field position for Denver, that's looking like a bad idea too. Or his decision to receive the ball to star the game. Another mistake. The guy is just horrible.
-
What what? You think it's a coincidence that McD appointed a first time ever OC from within, with no experience or success in the league? He wants to be able to control. We're replacing one stooge with another; not much gonna change.
-
I'm afraid you're right. If there are some major changes prior to next season, expect nothing to change. Today's OC change is meaningless in the big picture.

I'd rather swallow some broken glass. Thanks. -
Just b/c no one was fired TODAY doesn't mean they get a free pass. Most of this change should come at the end of the season; they will also all be gone automatically if McDermott is gone. Have to see how things develop.

Another Buffalo Sports Fan's Gut Punch.....or is it?
Nextmanup replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
The new guy will not be more successful than the old guy; this is a delaying tactic by McDermott to keep his job a bit longer. If he doesn't go as well, this means nothing. -
Dorsey was appointed OC in the first place for this day...to be a human shield to keep McDermott in his job a little longer if/when things don't go well. A cynical move that won't fix our problems.... But it might hasten McD's demise.

I pray to God that Pegula finds the intelligence and strength to look 4 or 5 moves down the chess board, and just gets rid of this regime after this season. This doesn't have to be a long drawn out multi year process. We don't have that kind of time with Josh.

It'll be a DT if these guys are still in charge. Good reason to get rid of them prior to the draft.
