  1. You could have ridden an elephant through that hole.
  2. I have a GIF taken just a few minutes ago of Josh Allen doing some pre-game warmups....
  3. Looks nice at the stadium right now, at 7:05pm eastern time. They said bad storms earlier have cleared.
  4. Steve Levy said: "Josh Allen just might be the new face of the entire NFL." Kind of gave me goosebumps thinking about that. Holy crap!
  5. This broadcasting trio on ESPN is as bad as any I can remember.
  6. Be careful, that stuff doesn't keep you warm, it makes you feel like you are warm.
  7. I don't follow tennis, but it seems like the sport is constantly dominated by a single "Roger Federer" who no can beat for the 8 or 10 years the guy in his prime, and everyone says "he's the greatest ever" but then the next one comes along and raises the bar that much more. When I was in undergrad the guy was Pete Sampras. Now that Federer is gone, I assume Rafael Nadal is the new top dog. Or is he getting old now too?
  8. The broadcast of the game I was watching (through alternative means) was from CTV...I noticed it when they left a few commercials on during the streaming.
  9. I have some magic crystals and a few scale replica pyramids I'm going to sell to Von. They're a steal at only $150,000 each. I'll throw a psychic reading in for free.
  10. "With the first pick in the 2022 WGR-550 meteorologist draft, I select a low pressure trough with light precipitation." Bulldog: "Oooh. Risky pick with the first overall, but like it!" Schopp: "That's idiotic, and totally wrong!"
  11. This is a good point. Von will not only make other players around him better (during play in a game) but he will literally also make them better outside of the games and on the practice fields. If I was Rousseau I would be CONSTANTLY talking to him, asking questions, watching him in practice, and trying to absorb everything about him like a sponge! He's a great guy to copy. You won't find anyone better!
  12. Will dig into that one too and report back!
  13. I thought he might have a cracked rib judging by the way he was getting hit and the incredible pain he seemed to be in. On that one play, he tried to make a throw and just couldn't do it, and kind of lobbed the ball out of bounds instead of throwing near coverage to his receiver. If they don't sit him and deal with it correctly, he'll be hampered by this ALL YEAR LONG.
  14. The frustrating part (if you're a Chargers fan) is that the only LA player who had a real shot at the ball carrier after the INT was Herbert himself...and he was well positioned to make the stop. But then close to the point of contact the runner made a quick move and it left Herbert grasping at air. Needless to say, tackling is not what he is paid to do, but he could have shut that play down at about the 20 yard line I think, 80 yards short of the TD. He's a much bigger guy than the DB and he could easily have brought him down, but he whiffed. And from there, no one was going to catch that guy. To be honest, I thought it was a poorly thrown ball. He put it on the wrong side of the receiver, to the inside, when he should have thrown to the outside. The throw also got there late, which is what allowed the DB to jump it. Yeah, even in the Dan Fouts era (who I always really liked and thought was underrated), the Chargers found ways to lose and were never an ultra elite team. I do remember that playoff game out in SD, though. What was that? 1980? We lost that one and it ripped my soul out, probably for the first time. Age: 9.
  15. I wonder if people here picking Allen over the other 2 has anything to do with Josh playing on the Bills. 🤔
  16. Shut up Shady! No asked for your opinion. (I agree with some of this though).
  17. Your second point was absolutely devastating. LA had some momentum and were driving the field and looking to get a TD, and just like that, no TD but KC gets one instead. Devastating play! Biggest of the game.
  18. Tony Dungy says nothing that is not predictable, trite, and has not been heard before. You could write a script for him of likely answers/comments before a segment and it would be about the same as what he actually says. I have no idea how he keeps his job at NBC. I enjoyed the Poyer interview!
  19. I just watched "The John Wayne Gacy Tapes" and "Worst Roommate Ever" on Netflix. Both are worth your time if you enjoy true crime type stuff.
  20. Yeah, but obviously there is some way around that, otherwise no game would ever be flexed, and yet clearly some have been.
  21. KC vs. LA on Thursday, Miami vs. Baltimore, and of course, the Bills are the only games that look interesting to me this week. Lots of aired crap again.
  22. LMFAO! Outstanding post! Very interesting; nice write up. Thanks!
