This is my position. We have never had true revenge on the Patriots, because Brady left the team. And we've NEVER had any kind of revenge on Brady himself. A full season in Miami would be amazing. We'd get 2 shots (and maybe playoffs) to pound him physically, and beat him up on the scoreboard. Just a small amount of payback for all the years of domination.

I think the team shows up for each game and the guys try their best. And that's it. I think fans create emotion driven narratives like this because it's part of the human condition.

With news that Damar has been discharged from the hospital, this is turning into a huge Bills news day. Hyde practicing, Damar going home, TUA out for the game on Sunday. What's next? Have I won the lottery? I'd be shocked if he isn't done for the season. And maybe more going forward. Without knowing the details, it's impossible to speculate.

This decision would be a lot bigger than just McDaniels to make alone. Everyone in the organization including ownership would be in on this discussion.

I just caught wind of this now. I have been saying he will not play, but it's FANTASTIC NEWS that this is official. Easy win for Buffalo this week. No wonder the networks buried it in the 1pm Sunday slot.

The bigger question is will Hyde play, at all. Getting him out there and starting the 21 day window is logical, but it doesn't mean he will play.

To the best of my ability, it was some random thing that was generated by national media, which is why I never liked it. It's not OUR term...it's someone else's. Are you serious? I have no concerns over either of those things. If Tua plays, I would hope the players do their best to knock him out of the game, and that should be made very clear to them this week by the coaching staff. You look the wrong at Tua in his current condition and he is going to get another concussion. We need to capitalize on that. He should not have played another snap this year after his second concussion on TNF. If he isn't going to care about his own health, why should the Bills?

Well that's how this works. We are built to win NOW. The future is here right now... We shouldn't be building for anything.

I think his value to the team is greatly overestimated by most fans. Of any big name we had to lose for the playoff run, he'd be the first name I'd choose.

That was a great game! Reminds me of Alabama vs. Notre Dame a few years ago in the championship game. Notre Dame was completely out-classed, out-sized, out-muscled, 'Bama was better and faster at every position on both sides of the ball. Other than that, it was a great game. Is the talent pool this disproportional these days? Can't find 2 teams on equal footing for the big dance?

Still the best looking uniform we have, and what we wear has no bearing of any kind on wins or losses anyway.

2 comments on the whole Hyde situation. 1) I have heard absolutely NOTHING about this in the media at any point in the recent past. No one is talking about this other than fans here. 2) If he is coming back for the playoffs, he better come back soon. We are playing a playoff game in a few days and I just don't see how this is going to happen. If we made it as far as the championship game or even the SB--maybe there would be talk of him getting out there? But then he would be so rusty and they'd want to play him with limited snaps like they did with TRE and so on... I just don't see it happening.
