  1. “Bill could retire to a cushy TV Job?” Uh have you heard Bill’s press conferences? He’s a terrible talker
  2. If Williams can step up, he has a great chance of sticking as WR4. Given his size, he gives the position a different dimension than the other WR’s on the roster.
  3. It didn’t sound like BOB shopped him and just made the deal with AZ.
  4. But didn’t you anticipate this would happen? I was thinking Shaq would get around $12M which is what he can earn Miami. I didn’t see the team spending that much on him, so I knew he was gone and was ok with it. Not bummed by any means
  5. This was way before my time but it looks like Ralph was making terrible moves for decades. He was not a good owner when it came to outing together a winning football product. He got lucky with Polian/Marv
  6. Good deal for Baltimore and he should help their pass rush... it should also be noted that his numbers have dropped over the past years after his monster breakout season. Not as bad of a deal for Jacksonville as some of you make it out to be.
  7. I don’t think this moves makes a lot of sense. I guess they are giving Croom a chance to win a roster spot but unless he flashes in the preseason I don’t see it happening
  8. That’s why I said, if you look at Clay’s production you can argue he put up similar numbers as he did in Miami. But when you add context, I don’t remember him having that great of impact on the team. His cap hit also really killed the team. Overall a very bad signing
  9. I agree - he is stubborn as hell and will run the show even if it puts others at risk. It sounds like he deferred to the city of Tampa to make the call
  10. Yet Vince McMahon is still moving forward with with hosting up to 70,000 at Wrestlemania...
  11. Im on the fence too because of Ford. But Spain was actually in pass protection. He didn’t allow a sack all year long
  12. Charles Clay should be on the list. By the numbers you can argue he was as productive as he was in Miami, but did he really ever make a big difference in games? Maybe in Miami where he couldn’t catch a pass in the endzone. Seriously though, this was a poor return on bad deal made by a terrible GM that hindered this team cap-wise for years.
  13. Benjamin was a trade. They didn’t sign him. They took a flier on Vontae Davis and he didn’t look great. But it wasn’t like this was a high-money, high-profile signing. Also you can’t fault Beane for the unprofessional way that Vontae screwed the team over.
  14. But he’s on another team with another WR coach, and he STILL a bottom of the roster player
  15. Maybe we should wait until he plays against NFL competition.... and not against a defensive secondary that couldn’t make an NFL roster. I remember when the Bills activated Cam Phillips in 2018. He did ok but was hardly a dominating WR. He looked like a player on the fringe of making an NFL roster. To be fair, the only one still left from the administration that traded up for Zay was McDermott. In hindsight this was terrible pick....at the time, it still probably wasn’t a great move. Still Zay had a really productive college career and was know for having....sure hands. LOL While this was a mistake the GM, front office, entire scouting and most of the offensive coaching staff is new.
  16. I think we should just try to package our extra 5th and 6th round draft picks to try to trade for Ryan Fitzpatrick ?
  17. I love this question! I think it will be better to ask at the end of the season
  18. He’s an average CB and was a big reason why several Texans drives were kept alive. He exceeded expectations but I didn’t really see that big of a drop off between Levi and him
  19. I’m not as completely satisfied with Kevin Johnson as most Bills are. I thought he did ok in stretches but like Levi Wallace, struggled a bit at times. He also didn’t have a great game in the playoffs. So anyone lamenting at a possible Johnson loss is a bit overblown IMO. As far as Norman - there’s no doubt he has been bad the last few years. But you have to think that the the Bills scouting department and McDermott know know what they are doing. Also you have to take into account that he’ll be joining a veteran secondary and playing in scheme he knows well and has excelled in. Worst case scenario - he gets outplayed by Wallace and another CB and doesn’t make it through training camp. The Bills lose a few million that won’t come close to making or breaking their cap situation. Let’s see how this plays out
  20. There’s a great podcast on the Buffalo Rumbling network called The Nick & Nolan Show. I didn’t think I would like the show but the man known as “Bruce Nolan” was really really good. He had some pretty good insight and sounded professional. I tried finding more information on his background because he knows football, but learned that “Bruce Nolan” was an alias and is the name of the JIm Carey character in Bruce Almighty. He also has no picture of himself and instead used...:you guessed it - Jim Carey as Bruce Nolan. So I’m wondering if any longtime fans could tell me why he’s hiding behind a movie character? It’s not like he’s some crazy conspiracy theory podcaster who’s show could get him in hot water. He’s not really controversial and he sounds super professional - so I don’t get it
  21. Couldn’t get through I don’t know. On the surface level I agree but it just doesn’t make sense as to why Gregggg would just suddenly shut it down without giving any warning to Zman or anyone else. I guess on day he just woke up as said “I need to shut it down.” I think either McDermott and/or Boyko didn’t like what they saw - just like Tom Donahoe.
  22. But the question is - was Gregggg Pastore TOLD to shut it down by McDermott?
  23. Make all the jokes you want, but I’m getting to the bottom of this story.
