  1. Yea that is true. But did you read the article? The difference is how the Pegula’s handled the layoffs as opposed to other NHL owners. They didn’t promise a job when things turned around. They also denied paying PTO which is completely BS. Not faulting them for the layoffs but they couldn’t handled this situation much much better - do you disagree? How about PTO - do you get that?
  2. Yeah and that was the overall takeaway. It’s clear they are in a very bad situation and many businesses are. But the way they handled the layoffs was bad
  3. So I read the article and thought it was it was pretty fair. The gist is that while many in the hospitality industry are unfortunately laying off employees, few employers have the resources or the personal wealth that the Pegulas have. The way they handled this situation, is not great. I do believe that Terry and Kim are good people, so it’s a little surprising. They are either very tone deaf or they’ve been out of the loop on this decision in their org. True... but it’s a little different situation. We’re talking about one town and one company. Did you not read the part when it said employees were not given paid time-off? Or that they weren’t promised a job after re-opening? It’s clear they could have handled things better It makes you wonder how involved they were with these decisions or whether it was all their hospitality guy making the call.
  4. You’re in the minority. Rosen stinks. He’s done. Finished ??Sometimes I thank God.......for unanswered prayers!??
  5. Nope... not gonna happen. That would mean either: Cam is Fitzpatrick‘s backup or Fitzpatrick is Cam’s back up and Miami’s rookie QB is the emergency QB. Not happening
  6. Ive actually read some pushback to Graham’s article. Have not read it but looking forward to it. One thing is for sure - Tim Graham does not give a F@@@. He’s not scared to write what he believes even it mean negative consequences
  7. I don’t know if I buy this, because the Washington game was earlier in the year. If it was so apparent like you said, why would the Bills continually use Gore over and over and over again? If he often failed, why didn’t they find a new short yardage back? Why would they stick with Gore?
  8. So you’re saying he got burned out and ran out of gas? Some would believe that it was playcalling that doomed Gore. Either way it was ugly
  9. Makes sense. To me, it’s still frustrating how bad he was towards the end of the season. It’s like every time he touched the ball he gained a yard. Every time. I think I have NFL PTSD from watching Gore run the ball over the last few weeks. It’s was disgusting.
  10. In looking back on the 2019 season I’m continually perplexed how bad Frank Gore was running the ball. He was completely ineffective and it seemed like every time he carried the ball he ran straight into a brick wall. It was terrible - and yes way worse than Mike Tolbert running the ball in 2017. I have never been more frustrated with a player than I have with Frank Gore running the ball toward the end of the 2019 season. I’ll stand by the fact that I think keeping him active hurt the team and that I get the team would have been better off with Yeldon on the field. He should have not been active....period. But his season didn’t start bad by any means. He was the main RB after Singletary’s injury in Week 2 and he performed well. I split his season up roughly based on the number of carries. These are his numbers in Weeks 1-6: 86 carries for 388 yards 4.5 yards per carry 14.3 carries per game 2 rushing TD’s Weeks 7-16 91 carries for 211 yards 2.3 yards per carry 9.1 carries per game 0 rushing TD’s What inflates these numbers badly is a 27 yard run versus Denver. If you take that out of the mix, Gore was 90 carries for 184 and a whopping 2 yards per carry. So the question is, why did his production drop off? Did they run Gore too hard when Singletary was hurt as opposed to spreading his carries out over the year? Did he get burned out carrying the load early in? Or was Gore so limited that it became predictable when he was in the backfield? Teams knew his limitations and just run blitzed the house to stop him? I do respect what Gore has done and am glad he was a good mentor to Singletary but unless you can turn back the clock 10 years, I never....NEVER want to see him carry the ball for the Bills again. It was just too tragic.
  11. It would make sense that NE and possibly others were in play for Diggs - which is why the Bills ended up giving up a 1st rounder to close the deal. The more I think about it - given Diggs’ age, contract and ability it makes sense to trade the pick than to draft an unknown commodity like Tee Higgins
  12. It should be noted that good old John Wawrow disputed Parrino’s report
  13. Maybe, but Norman has a chance to play CB in a zone defense and not having to pay man-to-man. Norman in this defense might be better than Kev ok decent point
  14. This article is Horse Snit. The Rams aren’t trading Donald and it makes zero sense for the Bills to trade for him given that he plays the same spot as Edward Oliver. Not gonna happen. Use this tweet as toilet paper during these times.
  15. I don’t think they are. Honestly I wasn’t the biggest fan of KJ. I though he played adequate and having him on the roster to take snaps from Levi definitely helped. But I don’t see the need to bend over backwards to keep him. There’s lot of players that can fill his role
  16. Murphy wasn’t terrible as a pass rusher toward the end of the season. There’s a reason they haven’t cut him. Also I really wonder whether an improved interior will help Eddie Oliver get more pressure up the middle
  17. I think there’s a real possibility unfortunately
  18. On one hand I agree... brining in a former starting QB as a backup almost sends a message that the franchise isn’t 100% confident in Allen. It seems small but when so much is riding on your QB, you don’t want anything to mess with his head. IF Allen has a Trubisky-like season in his 3rd year, you’ll see them bring in competition like a Flacco to take the reigns
  19. True... we still have the draft and without the 1st round pick, it gives us more cap space to spend on Beane’s “second tier” FA’s Ah! Thank you. I’ll make the edit
  20. Since Free Agency started, the Bills lost 2 defensive lineman and signed three new defensive lineman. Many here lamented the loss of Shaq Lawson and some wanted Jordan Phillips retained. Given these transactions do you believe the Bills D-Line is better or worse? Pre-Free Agency Shaq Lawson Star Lotuleile Eddie Oliver Jerry Hughes Jordan Phillips Trent Murphy Daryl Johnson Harrison Phillips (IR) Post Free Agency *Mario Addison Star Lotuleile Eddie Oliver Jerry Hughes *Vernon Butler *Quentin Jefferson Harrison Phillips Trent Murphy Daryl Johnson As you can see they essentially traded Shaq and Jordan Phillips for Addison, Butler, and Jefferson.
  21. The signing I hate is Taiwan Jones. Waste of money. I don’t love the Klein signing but the rest I’m a fan of.
