Kickers have a great life really. Lots of cash, hardly ever hit, hardly ever see the field. All they have to worry about is missing in a huge game and having an entire fan base hating them for eternity
Maybe less preseason games but more practice time. All I know is that early season is sloppy as hell, sometimes it's hard to watch. Maybe it's always been that way but I don't remember it that way
To be fair to Belichick, whenever you see him on things like A Football Life, he's always very complimentary to good or great players. I agree with whoever said most of the time he's just ***** with the media
I used to really like the announcing team of Maguire, Simms and the great Dick Enberg. They called the SB between the Packers and Broncos, which IMO is still one of the best, and did a fantastic job.
It's weird with the Pats, they've got a murderer, a sex trafficker and a cocaine dealer, yet poor Tom Brady decides to make out with his son one day and he gets a majority of the ridicule.
Hope all is well with him. He's one of those players I really missed once he retired, like Favre or Sanders. So good to watch and such a great competitor.
