  1. LOL, hope Oliver says this about Darnold in his post game presser
  2. The beer is cold, the ribs are marinating and my dick is harder than an Ivan Drago right hook. LET'S GO!!!
  3. I'm surprised Bill even knew he'd been released. From what I've heard he really doesn't follow those guys
  4. We're just so damn NICE aren't we? If it were any other team I'd be mopping the vomit off my shoes, but with the Bills it makes me feel kind of proud. It's like when your own kids do something 'cute' and your heart swells, but when someone else's is doing it a part of you wants to get them in a figure of 4 leg lock
  5. Can't you find a stream and just hook your computer to your TV? Won't be HD but at least it's on the big screen
  6. If the Raiders are the Manson Family then we're definitely the Waltons. Goodnight Coach McDermott. Goodnight Josh.
  7. Hmmm, guess I better get back over to the Raiders forum
  8. I was wondering how to make the time pass between now and tomorrow's game. I guess I'll head over to a Raiders forum for a quick laugh...
  9. "Everybody knock on wood if you think this guy is bat ***** crazy!"
  10. This has the makings of a damn fine limerick. There was a young bust near Rochester Who was doomed to his dudness forever His completions were low Every time he would throw So the GM ended his endeavor
  11. I'll call him a mother ***** cracker and get medieval on his ass
  12. Depends who the white is I guess. Me and you wouldn't be offended but Maycock might have been (he's probably more offended at being threatened with violence)
  13. Oh, I guess he won't be getting a ring afterall. Still, he can always say he played (practiced) with the mighty Pats
  14. I agree in that it wouldn't offend me in the slightest but I think the point here is that it is MEANT to cause a lot of offense. And the problem for the Raiders is that if they let him get away with it you know there will be people screaming double standards. Just imagine if a Ravens player had called Newsome any derogatory name for blacks. Even if Brown were to say "I don't think all white people are crackers" all you have to do is spin it around to the hypothetical Ravens player saying "I don't think all blacks are..." to see that that argument wouldn't stop said player getting crucified. It's a tough one because as I say, it doesn't offend me at all (and how many black people would say n*****r doesn't offend them?) and white people in America haven't had the same history as black people, but I do dislike hypocrisy and if something like that gets swept away then it sort of shines a light on that. It also makes rednecks think "well there you go, I can say what want because blah blah blah" and they'll constantly use this as an argument whenever they want to point out a double standard. I hate knee jerk reactions to things, but if you're preaching ALL racism is wrong then you have to punish him exactly as you would a white guy who called his black GM the N word Though I can't think of any examples where that might have happened. The only thing I can think of is the Eagles receiver who got caught on tape being racially abusive, and as far as I can recall he didn't lose his job so maybe an apology will do (I'd be more than okay with that personally, so long as he agreed to stop acting like a dick)
  15. I'm unsure of how this works. Can they just suspend him for 1 game or does it have to be at least 3 or 4 or whatever? I'm assuming they can just choose the amount they like. If so I think it'll be 1 game to show they're not a total circus, then throw him in week 2 after a ***** performance by their offense week 1.
  16. I have a different theory. It's the social media illness. It's made attention whores out of all sorts of people. Regular people with regular jobs who can't stop posting vague updates about being 'fed up' with no other explanation, just waiting for all those 'what's wrong?' messages to come flooding in. Brown is very heavy on social media and I think he's just become addicted to seeing all the views and comments his antics generate. If he wasn't famous he'd be busy on Facebook (or one of these message boards) trolling people and then sitting back and getting a hardon at the flood of replies
  17. I thought Hard Knocks would be great this year. I really enjoyed the Browns last year. Gruden, Brown, Incognito etc. Great TV if nothing else, I thought. Jesus what a snooze fest it was. I turned episodes 3, 4 and 5 off early because nothing seemed to be happening, just Gruden talking like someone with alzheimers and then yelling for them to knock on wood. When he was asking them which colleges the various players they were watching in episode 5 had played the camera showed his players looking either bored to tears or falling asleep.
  18. It reminds me of that line from White Men Can't Jump when Billy tells Sidney "you'd rather look good and lose than look bad and win"
  19. It was also the day his mom finally forced him to tidy his room. Every man has his limits
  20. My wife heard me say it every other day and is constantly telling me it's not true
  21. I'd completely forgotten about Josh Allen, thanks for reminding me. It's because no one has mentioned him since February
  22. I just bet 5k on the Jets to beat us
  23. Quarterback Or am I being too literal?
  24. I've just spent 20 minutes reading the Jets gang green forum. It's actually quite funny. I'd say 99% of them are wildly overconfident. Picking your team to win is one thing but some of the comments verge on arrogance. You'd think they were the Patriots. They're talking about Bell having 200 all purpose yards and Darnold having a career day. This is weird especially in week 1 when you have no real evidence of anything yet. Go have a read, it's great. I actually think the teams are very evenly matched after all the changes they've made. I feel good about the Bills this season but am far from over confident. Think it'll be a close game decided in the 4th quarter.
