  1. Yeah, as soon as he said "is this on, it's waiting to get on" I just thought he was a buffoon. He was entertaining and I knew he'd give us some national spotlight which we hadn't had in a long time but I was also cringing the whole time and for the whole time he was coach
  2. I've never visited a Lions forum but I think I might go and see what they think of the, erm, dude. I do feel bad for Lions fans. We think we've had it bad, they've been insignificant for almost my entire time as a football fan, apart from a trip to the championship game behind Barry. I can't believe how consistently bad/mediocre they've been, year after year. They deserve a good team
  3. I literally just saw his press conference. My first thought was Mike Tice. Overly macho bull####, we're gonna rip your throats out and eat your children yadda yadda yadda. I've never heard him speak before and within ten seconds I thought "what a moron". Maybe he'll be great but I'm so glad we don't have a coach like that. I still remember cringing at Rex's press conference when he was introduced as Bills coach
  4. I ran this post through every setting on Google translate but still never found anything I could understand
  5. That's amazing. I know it's not as impressive but I once pissed a Bills logo into the snow
  6. Was just watching this. Tre's a legend
  7. Chiefs fans are worse. They literally see no circumstances in which they're not in the Super Bowl. I've read a lot of stuff from KC fans this week and they're all discussing who they'd rather beat in Tampa. I mean I know they should be confident because they have a great team but yeeeesh
  8. I don't like the designed runs much but I hope he scrambles a lot in this game. Baker had a lot of success on roll-outs against KC and Josh is great when he does that. If there's nothing down field I hope he just takes off for the sideline and picks up a nice chunk of yards
  9. That draft when Rivers, Eli, Big Ben and... some other guy whose name escapes me, were taken in the first round doesn't seem all that long ago. Strange to think only Ben is still going, for now at least
  10. Pam always secretly liked the blondes Rex Ryan prefers Mahomes. He was all hot and sweaty when the TV cameras showed the young man checking his foot for turf toe on the sideline
  11. He'd deserve a LOT more than a hug...
  12. This is it. I've heard a lot of fans talking about this. They feel no threat from the Bills because they spent 20 years kicking our asses. They don't like Mahomes and the way he's already being tagged as "one day potentially being the GOAT" which is stupidly premature! I think a lot of them want Brady to get to the SB and beat Mahomes. A lot of them are as much Brady fans as they are Pats fans
  13. I also remember Kelly smashing his head into the artificial turf during the SB vs the skins. He was absolutely gone after that but went back in anyway
  14. No fair - it's only Tuesday, I demand happy thoughts!
  15. I don't hate it but would never identify myself with it So if someone messes with Bills mafia do they wake up with a John Elway head in their bed?
  16. I can't remember if we were underdogs in the Miami one but I do know I wasn't confident about it. That was the same playoffs as the Comeback so there was a feeling that it was meant to be, but we also had to go on the road to the Steelers and then the Dolphins. And with Kelly coming back for this one I was worried that the magic the team had with Reich wouldn't carry over. As I remember Kelly just killed the Phins with an endless stream of screens to Thurman. The game against the Chiefs I remember the whole football world wanted us to lose even more than the previous year because they were hoping for a matchup of Montana against his former team. I was just a teen then myself so I figured there would be many more Championship games down the road. How wrong I was
  17. I've watched a few clips from a number of shows I usually never bother with today and it's interesting how they twist the narrative to suit what they want to talk about. On one of them someone (can't remember which 'expert' it was) talked about how the wind was screwing up the Ravens kicking game and snaps but failed to mention our own missed FGs or the fact that the wind also affected our passing game. They also tended to phase their big Question of the Day as "why did the Ravens lose? Was it down to Lamar?" rather than giving any credit to a phenomenal defensive gameplan by the Bills.
  18. He doesn't want us seeing the image of Josh Allen he has shaved into his chest hair
  19. I have no problem with anyone picking against the Bills. It doesn't make them haters. I think a lot of people saw the Ravens as a bad matchup for the Bills and you can kind of see why.
  20. He did. I was listening to Ross Tucker's podcast earlier and he was saying he'd been getting tweets calling him a traitor for picking the Ravens. He had to explain that just because he thought the Ravens would win it doesn't mean he doesn't want the Bills to win. I really like Simms. Says what he really thinks instead of chasing clicks and views. He was high on Allen before the draft, I saw one show where I'm pretty sure people were laughing at him for saying he was the best of the 2018 class
  21. Great review of the game. He also says Allen is like Mahomes in that he has come to enjoy the blitz being thrown at him because he knows how to punish it now. "That's about as conservative I've seen the Ravens play on the defensive side of the ball EVER". The section I'm quoting starts at 14 minutes
  22. I rewatched some of that game today and I'd completely forgotten how in the game we were. I remembered the end where we scored so we were down just one score and our D was unable to stop them getting into FG range to ice it, but my memory was that they never looked threatened by the Bills. I forgot we missed a FG at the end of the first half that would have tied it. We also committed some stupid penalties that allowed them to continue drives we would have stopped. We also went for it on 4th and short and failed on a QB sneak which we usually convert (it didn't matter anyway as there was another flag on Buffalo). If this team plays smart and as disciplined on D as they did against the Ravens, we could really shock them
  23. Maybe the Chiefs could hire a lookalike to do the tests for him? I just googled "Pat Mahomes lookalike" to see if I could find one for them. Here are my faves:
  24. someone ask the kid if the ball felt like it had been deflated
