It feels like I've been up for 24 hours but I don't feel in the slightest bit tired. I want more booze. Such a strange game, especially the first half. Defense was just stunning. It was a gameplan worthy of the HOF, just like Belichick's for SB XXV is. The discipline the guys showed for the entire game was incredible. The wind really screwed with the passing game, and the Raven's D was awesome as well. An amazing effort by them. Allen took what they gave him and didn't get crazy or try to force anything. A mature performance and I can't ***** wait until next week!

I was surprised at how nervous I was before the Colts game. I actually felt sick, and I didn't even start drinking until the game started so it can't have been that. I think I'll feel even worse tomorrow. My wife just doesn't understand why a grown man can become so emotionally unstable over a game. I told her I don't understand how women can be so interested in their friends' relationships. That didn't go over too well

Lamar is a bigger draw, that's all you need to know. I mean they only call him by his first name, that's when you know a player is a big deal, even ***** players ("Johnny"). Last week the Bills were getting all the media attention over the Colts because, while a good team, the Colts are pretty dull. This week the Ravens are getting a ball washing from the talking heads because they know a lot of their fans are huge Lamar fans.

I don't watch this guy but you're right on this and I've seen it with other media guys. If Josh has a bad game Saturday then they'll just say "told you so" and completely discount every great game he's had this year. Even if he were to win the SB this season with an MVP award thrown in they would still say "let's see how he does next year with crowd noise and without his OC." The only way his play would shut these guys up is if he plays two seasons in a row of great football and wins at least one SB. Just the way it is. But they're the same with lots of players. Some people were like that about Manning - "great in the regular season but crashes in the playoffs when it matters".

The media have a new narrative for this game: "Lamar has never played in snow". If you watch some of these segments you can see they're setting him up to be the hero if it does snow and they win. Even if there's just a small amount of snow falling, it'll be "Lamar out-Buffaloed Buffalo!" "Bufflo chose Allen for these conditions but Lamar was the one who mastered them!"
