Mac Jones vs Zach Wilson
RobbRiddick replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll sure miss that cute, high pitched laugh -
3 reasons I like Rousseau: 1 - it rhymes with Gastineau, and Mark was a damn good player 2 - it ends with Seau, and Junior was a damn good player 3 - it rhymes with Larusso, and Daniel was damn good at karate "Gregory Rousseau is gonna play? Gregory Rousseau's gonna play!"

2021 NFL Draft - Day 1 Debrief
RobbRiddick replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent write up. I hate to say it but I am impressed with how the Jets are doing things now. A lot of mocks had them taking QB and then WR or RB, which would have been the splash, headline grabbing move. That's definitely what past regimes would have done but they got their QB and then went up to get a top lineman to protect him. With the Phins improving again and the Pats looking much better the East is going to be a real dog fight this season. I think a lot of the rivalries will end up split at the end of the season -
2021 NFL Draft - Day 1 Debrief

I agree about the fans in the chair. Looked bizarre and when Roger walked out it sometimes looked like he was visiting a mentally disadvantaged relative in a nursing home -
You get +1 for not saying "hear me out" but -1 for ending with "you heard it here first"

Do you trust this Front Office?
RobbRiddick replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I trust Beane so much I made him godfather to my daughter. He'll be so pleased when he finds out -
I imagine Beane is at this very moment covering himself in war paint and strapping on his weapons like Arnie in Commando

All Gunner's Draft Stuff.... 2021 Edition!!!
RobbRiddick replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seriously, this is great stuff. My usual draft tradition from the second round on is to wonder who the player is, look on Youtube and make a lightening judgment passed off of what I see. So it's good to see potential names to look out for -

Broncos forum here I come... -
I'd prefer edge or CB but if we get an explosive RB I'll definitely be excited to see how he could help give the offense a new dimension, so it will definitely add some buzz to the rest of the off season for me. To be honest I don't care who they pick or what position they go for. A. I have faith in this regime to make a good move, and b. it's the 30th pick so it's not like we have the pressure of picking in the top ten

Interesting Allen vs Jackson Debate (Wiley vs Acho)
RobbRiddick replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll watch the odd clip from shows like this during the season but during the off season it's brutal. I just looked at the clip and had to switch off when Bucky started talking. What a tool that man is. I seem to remember he used to crap on Allen before he was drafted and now he's still trying to say Lamar is a better QB. As has already been mentioned in this thread, how many GMs would choose him over Allen given the choice? I don't think even the Ravens would pick him -

***** him in his other ear -
Goodell won't be able to hug the top picks due to covid but will still get his first erection in six months when he sees Lawrence's beautiful locks flowing in the Cleveland breeze

Athletic article on JP Losman
RobbRiddick replied to Ed_Formerly_of_Roch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read this yesterday. Good article and good luck to Losman. He definitely rubbed some people the wrong way but I can remember reading all the articles about him back then and he did put in a lot of work during off seasons to try and be a part of the community and improve his game. It just never came together for him. I've always said that Losman had a great deep ball and threw some great bombs during his time with the Bills. What he struggled with was the processing and intermediate throws. Who knows how much better he would have done with a better coaching staff and ownership, I'm guessing he would never have been a great one but he may have lasted a little longer. He seems to be really enjoying his new career and I hope he finds himself back in the NFL one day as a coordinator. It'd be good for him to get a second shot at having some success in the pros and it would make him feel a lot better about how his playing career ended up -
Miami considering trading down from 6
RobbRiddick replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get why people are calling them clueless. I'm sorry to say the Dolphins now seem like a very smart team and have done a great job the last few years. They remind me of the Bills actually. The biggest mistake they've made IMO is Tua. Maybe he'll look great but I'd be surprised and as someone else mentioned here, they could end up with a lot of ammo to go after a top QB next year
