  1. Feels like we've had more opportunities in this one which is a good sign.
  2. Josh puts too much on the long ball to Sanders and not enough on the one to Diggs. Slow start for the offense.
  3. I'd have felt a lot better with a TD there but I'll take three points. Go Mckenzie!
  4. It would have been nice to get someone with actual edge speed but I don't hate having some extra length on the line. A batted ball is just as good as a pressure. AJ showed promise with that too.
  5. Oh boy. Have to give this FO credit. They aren’t afraid to swing for the fences. It worked with Josh.
  6. Happy the big guy is back. Tense few days in between re-doing Morse and having Feliciano sitting out there. I still don't understand what happened between end of season and FA. Seemed like we were leaning toward getting tougher along the Oline so we're not so one dimensional but then all anyone could talk about was the Colts game. Big John saved our asses this year with Morse in an out and totally ineffective in the run game. I would've preferred we make the switch full time but perhaps this was the wrong year to do so with the cap down. Either way, good to have him back.
  7. Give him the money we're about to save from cutting Morse.
  8. I asked the wife for her opinion and you're never going to guess this but she's pretty ok with Bills signing JJ Watt. For winning reasons, of course.
  9. I'm very interested to see what Bills do with their Oline and RBs. I expect we'll give Moss another chance assuming he can come back healthy. Feliciano, Winters, Williams, and Boettger are all free agents. McD calling out the run game feels like shots fired at Mitch Morse who has 2/28M left but we have an out this off season which would leave 5M in dead cap. Could be some changes on the horizon.
  10. Mahomes was just ruthless with Edmunds in the passing game. It looked like they were repeatedly targeting his zone in the first half. As others have said, I'd like to see Oliver next to a behemoth next year before making a call one way or another. Maybe he'll do better with more one v one.
  11. I'd love to see someone knowledgeable actually break this game down. It sure felt in the moment like we were conservative to a fault, especially on D. You can't play soft zone all game against those guys and just let them do what they want. Hill and Kelce are too good for that. On offense I thought Josh had a bad game. He wasn't very good vs. Ravens either. Our offense is very heliocentric. As good as Josh is that's one area we might want to look at so we're not so reliant on one player.
  12. Credit the Chiefs for blanketing us most of the game. Josh can't do everything. That said, he had guys open underneath on a lot of plays that he didn't see and was inaccurate on several throws that we've seen him make all year. We depend on him for so much of the offense, and he played at such a high level this year that every little mistake is noticeable.
  13. Experience. He came unglued in the second half vs. Houston last year and then handled the pressure much better vs. Colts this year. When we get back to conference championship game next year he'll have this experience to draw on and will likely be better.
  14. When you leave them alone in the soft spots of your zone they have the opportunity to showcase their speed.
  15. This was a rough game by Allen. He's been so good with audibles all year but he's been fooled repeatedly in this one.
  16. If it were single coverage I'd agree but that was a bad decision
  17. Terrible decision. That was basically a throw into triple coverage.
  18. Oh man Josh had Diggs wide open for a TD and couldn't get it done. No.
  19. McD is begging everyone involved to kick the FG here
  20. I'm unreasonably mad rn. This has been an amazing year. Our QB was like the 3rd or 4th best player in the league. We have Diggs now. So many good things. But everything about this performance is just a head scratcher.
  21. What a gutless coaching performance. This is coming from one of McD/Daboll's biggest apologists. We're playing not-to-lose football vs. one of the most explosive teams ever.
  22. Something tells me the QB gurus are going to focus on Allen's footwork after this one. He's all over the place.
  23. Poyer's hit was definitely helmet to helmet. We're getting so many breaks in this game. It should be over already. Fingers crossed we can do something with all this luck.
