  1. Hard to know how much the wind affected it.
  2. I do not like that play call.
  3. It's just triple coverage. No big deal.
  4. Who does Shakir remind you guys of? He's such a patient runner with the ball.
  5. The wind gust on that kick was crazy. Doubt we settle for too many more FGs.
  6. It isn't working but I get the rationale. Keep things in front of our back ups. Make the rookie go up and down the field on us.
  7. Holy crap what a catch Edit: maybe not
  8. We're getting pressure. Pickett is just playing well. Hats off.
  9. AJ showing off them good hands. Atta boy!
  10. That was one where I would've preferred to see Josh take the check down.
  11. Refs already sensing they need to step in and even the playing field
  12. Wow that changed fast. Great throw. And then a gift on ST!
  13. He's in a weird spot. We aren't a running team and he's third string pretty much out of the gate despite being a relatively high pick from a good program. That said, something is obviously up. We can speculate all we want but we have no real idea. Eventually, the truth will come out. To answer the question, I'll be worried if he's still useless at the start of next year. Not everyone comes out of the gate as a rookie ready to go.
  14. Offense started to turn things around the moment Crowder left the game. His drops were drive killers. The bigger loss, by far, is Mckenzie. Hope he's ok.
  15. Best player in the league. That first down run along the left sideline was classic Russell Wilson. I get such a kick out of guys falling for the pump fake well past the LOS.

He had that nice run along the left sideline in the 3rd. Made some guys miss. Barkley is the best back in the league outside of Henry. Of course he'd look great in a Bills uni. But he wouldn't look as good as he does in NY because of the difference in offense. Also, Singletary makes 2.7M whereas Saquan makes 7.2M. That isn't a nothing difference with our cap issues.

I don't disagree. By "mistake" I meant that Moss doesn't really fit the offense. We need our backs to catch out of the backfield. Zach is a little one dimensional.

Singletary has been good apart from the fumble today. Moss was a mistake. Cook has played like 10 total professional snaps. Beyond the part about Josh taking the lions share of the offense, our roster just isn't built for a good ground game. We'd need to completely overhaul our offensive line to make that work. Drafting Cook was already questionable given this fact. Investing any more in our RBs would be just plain foolish.
  19. Edmunds has been much better but I don't see how we can pay him. Allen, Diggs, Dawkins, and Miller alone will account for +50M in cap increase next year. Then you have guys like Oliver, Knox, and Milano getting pay increases. We just can't pay everyone. Kudos to Edmunds though. He's definitely going to get paid by someone.
  20. Ugly game but it was nice to see us drop the Ravens in the end. Defense dropped Lamar on a couple of occasions. Josh dropped some nice throws in for our "receivers." Bass dropped a quick kick through the uprights to seal it. We are expert at dropping things.
  21. What I like most about this loss: we dominated a pretty good team missing basically half our regulars due to injury/fatigue. It took a confluence of events - a comedy of errors - for us to give the game away and seize defeat from the jaws of victory. We can whine about bad injury luck and our penchent for losing close games, but the truth is we're so ***** good it takes miracles for the other (good) teams to win.
  22. I will say that it's entirely possible and even likely he was legitimately cleared last week, and it was really more about his back as disclosed, but this is a terrible look for the Dolphins and NFL. It reeks of second impact syndrome. Whether it's deserved or not, someone will likely get fired/sued.
  23. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory would be a very Bills thing to do, but this team is built different. Let's see if we hold.
  24. 24-10 advantage in first downs.
  25. Did we just give refs a chance to go back and make sure Moss didn't step out earlier??
