McD has poured all his energy into the defense with Frazier gone, and for the most part it's been great. Losing Daquon and Milano is devastating. The problem is Dorsey isn't good enough to have this much control. Our plan to ball control and win the clock is blowing up in our face. We're overreliant on Diggs, and it makes us predictable. We're not scaring anyone with our run game. The 11.5 personnel has flopped to date. We need all hands on deck to decide if it makes sense to stick with the current plan. I don't see how this is going to work against anyone in Jan.

Why didn't we go for two there? What's the difference between 4 and 5? 6 brings in two FG or a missed PAT.

Nice run and the call helps. This offense gets into too many 3rd and longs. Something has to give.

Two weeks in a row not scoring in the first quarter.

We're fatally flawed unless we can trade for a one tech. Even if Williams and Elam work out and no one else goes down, we still won't be able to stop the run against the better offenses. We have too many data points of what it looked like minus Star/Daquon.

We need to trade for a one tech if we're serious about competing the rest of the season. Any ideas?

Daquon Jones getting hurt was a big factor in us getting run over vs Benglas. We got him because we used to get run on by lots of teams. Why do we not have a back up one tech?

The Milano injury is devasting and heart breaking, but Daquon Jones going down pisses me off. Our D is now fundamentally compromised because we don't have a 1 tech. It's the same ***** as ever year. Why is it so difficult to carry an extra one tech on the roster? Someone please explain this to me.

I was already there with Tre. Now Milano. It's gut wrenching. Edit: I said this last week with Tre but these two in particular represent the rebirth of this team. We went almost 20 years without making the playoffs until these guys helped turn our defense around enought to make it.

The entire passing game wasn't great. I didn't think the protection was great. Josh badly missed some throws today, and had a hand in at least one of those drops. I didn't like the play calling either. Sometimes we have no imagination. And yes, receiver group hurt us.

This sucks so hard. We can't have nice things, I guess. Edit: for those who don't know, Milano is the key to McD's defense. Acting like we can just replace him be ok is fantasy.

This sucks so hard for Tre. He was the first player taken in the McD era and in many ways signifies our transition to becoming a good football team. Maybe we can resuscitate Elam's career out of this, but this loss is no small thing for our chances at making a SB either.

One thing I’ve noticed this year is we’re putting ourselves in way more 3rd and long situations. Josh is converting them but that’s not a great way to sustain drives and score points. Eventually, it catches up to you.

He’s the beef. When he’s not in it can get extra lean out there. Bungles become Bengals and whatnot.

Dolphins are scary but I like us to win at home. -3 sounds about right. Bet the public pushes the line down though.
