  1. I think getting him better play makers for 2020 will make the whole situation better. I'm sure he did start stressing and trying to do it all in that second half. Then you have some negative plays and things start to snowball in his mind. With more experience he'll calm down some more and once you surround him with better talent I think we'll see more stable Josh Allen. Guy wants to win and yeah he tried some over the top stuff (hurdled another defender). I like Singeltary but clearly we can use another young back with upper echelon athletic talent. We dont have a big physical pounder at rb not do we have a break away threat. Get a physical WR who will allow Beasley to me the 3rd down slot guy and Brown to me more of the take the top of wr. Listening to the end of the year presser I think they know they need more complementary football around Josh Allen.
  2. Is half the league going to be run by disciples of Belichick now? Getting crazy
  3. No problem will be sure not start another thread
  4. Not trolling here guys. Long off season, tired of discussing Josh and Daboll. How were handling roster structure/money/ This is what I was getting at. Or let me rephrase the question. If we didnt have Tre would we bring in a top dollar corner for this particular defensive scheme?
  5. Chris Simms had some kind words on Allen in his post wildcard weekend segment. Mentions specifically the lack of talent around Josh. Called Brown and Beasley "good" players not difference makers Mentions how easy it is to knock a small wr off their route. Thinks Singeltary would be better served as James White type change of pace back Talked about Daboll running out of ammo once he used up the scripted plays. Talked a lot about the pre draft narrative and how people have taken it too far.
  6. Is any cornerback playing in a primarily zone scheme worth paying top money? I would not be shocked to see a CB drafted early by Buffalo How do they handle it this time after letting Gilmore walk? I know he's under contract for 2020 just curious what you guys think is the long term plan
  7. Tampa Bay has 19 UFA's to sign including Shaq barrett $$$$$$$
  8. Looking at the FA WR for 2020 I think Breshad Perriman might fit the bill and not break the bank Looks like he might be poised to produce like a 1st round pick after bouncing around a bit
  9. AJ Green 1sr round wr Brown Beasley Duke That's a nfl wr room
  10. if guys like DK dont make a difference than why do teams pay big bucks for elite wrs? To say a huge fast target like DK would not have helped Josh Allen or any Buffalo qb post better stats is preposterous. All year we heard Brady whining for WR help
  11. He improved and he will be better next year. I'm very confident . He's young, smart and wants to win. He'll figure out the details to continue to grow into the position. I'm excited to see what personnel improvements they make on offense
  12. Duke did fine and the targets affirm he was getting open and most importantly Josh trusted him. Too bad McDermott thought otherwise all season Coaching staff has a awful habit of sticking to their first narrative I hope we see some growth in that facet for 2020
  13. Bills need McDermott to get better both in game decisions and in utilizing his personnel. Stakes are higher, playoffs expected and a win/run next season
  14. That is what I feel. I really enjoyed the season . Tried my best to not rush it and savor the build up each week It was nice to be in every game. Bummed to see it end. To lose by blowing a big lead in a game I though we had in control probably made it sting more. Now the long wait begins again
  15. no he's just better than the dumpster fire on our depth chart after Brown and Beasley We had arguably the worst wr core in the NFL
  16. maybe he watched Shady too much waving that pigskin around
  17. You nailed it on all points. I worry more that McDermott cant change his mindset than I do about Allen improving. He's so stubborn
  18. could be but they need a WR badly as well and RT is not a premium position you typically use a 1st rounder on. They are going to have to overpay in free agency somewhere or again get lucky with some mid range signings I wont be shocked if we go corner in round 1.
  19. Conklin or Bulaga at RT sounds like a great first move RT has been a problem forever
  20. That is the problem with looking at qbs We look at the end result then try and make the numbers fit If the Bills won Josh would have done enough Missed tackles and dumb playcalls/clock mgmt cost us the game. We had a 16-0 lead and choked, that is a team loss. I though Watson got lucky He held the ball too long all game and played sandlot football Difference is his skill guys made a few more plays than ours did and our defense again missed too many crucial tackles
  21. Lets hold the horses just a sec A championship defense to me is the 2000 ravens We have a bend dont break Tampa 2 that doesnt create enough havoc and needs a offense to constantly maintain drives because the D routinely allows long drives. Bills defense scored zero tds this year That is not championship caliber. Offense isnt even close
  22. Duke was fine He had a chance to come down with a td and came up short on a tough catch He's not the answer but could be a viable wr3 for 2020 I'd start the depth chart with brown, beasley, duke and jettison the rest unless Mckenzie can be trusted to handle PR/KR Get all new rbs to go with Singeltary
  23. They need to be all in on Josh Allen. Get some help so he is not 90% of the offense. You want to win with him on his rookie deal and then you can decide what to do. Put personnel into spots where they can succeed. That means don't put special teams guys out into 5 wr sets in OT of a playoff game. Put the ball into your play makers hands Devin Singeltary is a budding superstar you need to work with that and get a 2nd talented explosive back. Get outside wrs . 5' 7" guys belong in the slot exclusively . Get a big physical TE who can work in the red zone. Stop the Cody Ford at tackle debacle. McDermott needs to be more open minded with personnel Not using Singeltary early in the year. Nathan Peterman! Continuing to rely on Foster, Roberts, Kroft, Dimarco week after week on offense
  24. I know I mean move on from them and free more money Dont want to ever see Dimarco lined up at wr again Its haunting me in my sleep
  25. only one I want to have back 100% is Spain No way I'm investing heavy into Shaq Lawson or Jordan Phillips . Only the Bills believed in Phillips so maybe he stays on a reasonable contract I worry we'll overpay to keep "process" guys I want DiMarco, Gore, Foster, Kroft. gone asap.
