  1. They restocked the pantry with tuna and beans Next year we go get steak and lobster There is a reason we have all that cap space
  2. Their conservative approach is probably the reason for the 10-5 record but might also be holding him back. Feels like they put Josh into a lot of 3rd and long situations and 4th quarter pressure cookers with the approach they take. Anytime we did have early success we go into some strange prevent mode offense Its really weird trying to figure this teams identity on offense sometimes I guess if nothing else they have coached the crazy turnovers out of him
  3. There may have been some frustrating results but even more than the 10-5 record or the playoff spot I feel encouraged in the sense that each week I feel the Bills could win Been a long time since I could say that
  4. Ford got wrecked those last two snaps in the NE game Morse to be has been somewhat disappointing although I should be used to watching the Bills center routinely get blasted back into the QB
  5. OL last year was bottom 3 This year maybe in the 20's Progress but they can certainly get better I hope to see Ford at guard in 2020 and some more upgrades.
  6. Biggest reason for the loss to NE was the OL and DL They had 2nd and manageable all game and Brady had loads of time Allen had 2 and 10 and was constantly pressured Honestly that game resembled many of the Pats blowouts in every stat but the final score We simply could not stop the run or the screen pass
  7. Watching it with a few buddies all of whom were rooting against the Bills (disgruntled 49er and Dolphin fans) Needless to say I didnt get much sympathy It didn;t seem that big of a deal to lose that one but each year after that got tougher and tougher to take Who was to know the cluster bomb that the next 20+ years would bring
  8. On the endzone pass I think Allen expected Knox to go to the pylon to create more depth space to fit that throw in Easier throw to the pylon with how deep the second defender was (not the guy trailing Knox) Some media made it seem like its a easy completion but looking at the pics it was a bit tougher throw . Would love for the Bills offense to be more efficient on early downs and set up more manageable downs for Allen. I do have one interesting thought The media seems to be on the Allen is holding the Bills back but almost unanimously they had the Bills as a 5 or 6 win bottom dweller this year. Hmmm sounds a bit hypocritical
  9. This is the still a defensive team Lets get some more talent on the offense and see what it looks like before its time to panic with Josh Allen.
  10. Saying Allen regressed seems harsh I didn't see any evidence of that. He didn't turn it over and for the most looked like he knew where to go with the ball .He did miss some easy looks Not sure if it was more nerves of bad footwork from feeling the pressure. Whole offense could have played better starting with the O line which did him no favors. I think if we had been able to run the football it wold have been a different outcome If we had slowed down the Pats run game I dont think Tom has the same success without play action
  11. dont think anyone can argue that Browns offense is less than the sum of its parts Bills is much greater than the sum of its parts
  12. the completion % is relative to the scheme of the offense We don't funnel throws to TE's and RB's Their is a reason Derek carr is at 70% He doesn't throw to wrs
  13. I dunno Mayfield has better cast and they won 6 games Darnold I'll give the benefit of the doubt but I still would not say he's further ahead than Allen and none of their ceilings including Jackson are higher. I think they just continue to grind their axe
  14. QBR is like women's thinking I cant figure it out How is Josh's Miami game a 47.6 but the Pats game is a 84.6 Stats virtually the same except the Pats game is completion % was much lower The formula is the Colonels recipe
  15. I can see it from both sides. It would suck if he sat all the key players and they come out slow in the playoffs Hopefully no injuries occur More reps in the game cant be bad for Allen If he did sit I think he might launch his first pass a 100 yards in the playoff game from the pent up anxiety
  16. I'm not listening to the singer from Warrant discussing football
  17. think I'm good with not seeing Trent Murphy in a Bills uni anymore Hughes not sure either way Been a while since he had solid sack numbers
  18. I sincerely hope we can face them again this year . Brady should give them enough bulletin material with his smug mouth.
  19. get new ones?
  20. that guy is in the shop more than Sammy Big help if he's out although they still will have guys that can get deep
  21. You see what I see. I see a lot of third and longs all game long I see a lot of very tight throws What I dont see is any continuity or game planning specific to the team we face I dont see special scheme making guys look good
  22. I would use more rpo stuff for sure Anything besides the bland delay run up the gut for 1 yard over and over I'd like to see Allen run that stretch handoff and pull it back and throw out of that I remember Manning used to throw downfield off that play
  23. game was lost at the line of scrimmage Pats consistently ran for 4-6 yards a carry setting up manageable downs for Brady Bills could not run the football leaving Allen in third and long way too much
  24. He does but you cant teach that 4th down sneak or being able to backfoot a 50 yard td pass while getting drilled or routinely drilling completions on stick routes into tiny windows. Everybody said he wouldnt make it because he was a turnover machine and he fixed it. He'll fix the deep ball Its getting better. He may never be a west coast offense 70% passer but if the Bills can find some playmakers he could run a explosive vertical offense off rpos We just dont have the horses yet and the O line needs more help
  25. We lost yesterday on the LOS Pats got over 6 yards per play on offense Felt like every hand off was at least a 4 or 5 yard gain. Every short check down was a missed tackle and more yards. Brady faced almost no pressure Bills D line cannot get to the qb without stunts and extra bodies Been like this all year Conversely the Bills O line got handled Pats able to pressure Josh off his spot routinely with just 4 guys Marshall Newhouse came in and outplayed what we got from Cody Ford. Once again no push in the run game, the few yards Devin got were well earned Allen had to do his circus act to make a few plays to even make this close.
