Family Dog (Pit Bull) Kills 26-Day-Old Baby
DuckyBoys replied to Gugny's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Condolences to the family That is simply horrible to have happen. I would not own one and we've always had dogs. I don't think they have a off switch. I dont trust Rotties either. Only dog I have been bitten on was a neighbors German Shepherd and I'd have one of those again. She bit me and let go before I even realized what happened I've seen a pit hang from a tire jaws locked for minutes on end. To be fair that breed attracts dumb asses to begin with. There is always a "bad dog" breed the wrong people go out and get I remember in the 70's80's Dobermans and Rotties were in fashion . -
He needs to continue to get better vs the blitz and learning to take the easier third down completion to extend drives vs always taking the big play. There needs to be better options around him. The completion % obsession is nuts. Carolina turned Cam Newton into a near 70% passer Cam didnt get any better with accuracy and ball placement They simply changed the focus of the passing game to throwing to backs and te. Do the Bills really want to coach their qb into being Capt Checkdown? Its a fine line . I'd prefer they get better talent to allow him to throw vertically even more . None of these players ever carried their team offensively Jake Locker Blaine Gabbert Christian Ponder Kyle Boller Allen is the whole offense right now

Target WR Breshad Perriman FA Tampa Bay
DuckyBoys replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Godwin worked the shorter routes Not saying Perriman has Larry Fitzgerald hands but he's worth a deep look in FA he's big and very very fast Bringing him in on a reasonable 2 year deal and adding in the draft seems like a good bet -
Yes we need help but why 1st Round WR's scare me
DuckyBoys replied to WideRightRevenge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
to be fair all three of those guys are from pass heavy offenses I think some of the wrs drafted that haven't put up big numbers might have done better somewhere else. -
Charles was even bigger but weight was distributed little bit different and he was mostly a one foot leaper. Zion is more explosive, two foot leaper with skinnier lower body Think he's more like Larry Johnson far as body type. Larry's back gave out. Charles lost a lot of weight and also changed his game drastically. Putting that much torque to elevate at 270lbs and as much as his game right now is predicated on jumping over people I just dont see a long career. Hope I'm wrong hes fun to watch and seems like a nice personable young man

Should be exciting to watch. Lot of hype to live up to. There haven't been many players in that size/explosiveness and most did not last long.

So who is everyone rooting for tomorrow?
DuckyBoys replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looking for the old school Super Bowl . Green Bay vs Kansas City. Green Bay I feel is kind of a sister city to Buffalo being a small market rabid fanbase. Andy Reid gets another shot to get over the hump and not end up like Schottenheimer. Old school Rodgers vs New jack Mahomes -
Will we pay Poyer or won't we?
DuckyBoys replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Should be interesting We've seen Beane tear it down and get out of cap hell. Now we'll see how they maintain the build while keeping the team psyche and cap healthy. I woud think a salary closer to Hyde's would do it but what Miss Poyer thinks probably matters more, lol -
Faith No More.........into them or not?
DuckyBoys replied to Seasons1992's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Can remember listening to Epic in the sony walkman at work over and over (had a sh1tty night shift working for home shopping channel) Both good albums One of the few early 90's things I can still listen to. Angel Dust didnt seem to go anywhere when it came out but Epic was monstrous. I dont like "new" metal but it probably doesnt exist without Faith No More. Think Mike Patton was difficult to deal with and they had "band" issues I look from time to time but dont ever see current dates so dont even know if they play live anymore. -
The Mandalorian Season 2 - official trailer [ed title]
DuckyBoys replied to Fixxxer's topic in Off the Wall
Ehh that might free them up to do something all new I like the idea of the main part of the story/characters being all new with minor cameos/easter eggs tying it in. Less existing continuity to be chained to might make for a more interesting story. Heck give us a star wars storyline several hundred years before a New Hope -
If we cant stop the run there is no sacks. Phillips is not good against the run. He's actually surprisingly poor given he's the largest D lineman we have. 9.5 sacks is nice and he's a nice rotational piece in obvious passing situations. Teams overpay in free agency so lets let someone else do it. I think if teams look at film they will see the same thing. Lot of the sacks (and this applies to everyone but Hughes) were unimpeded from blocking miscues/stunts and coverage. I didn't see Phillips beating his blocker or pushing the pocket into the qb on a regular basis.

The Mandalorian Season 2 - official trailer [ed title]
DuckyBoys replied to Fixxxer's topic in Off the Wall
Agreed, it is a concern .Clone Wars was very good so I hold out hope they can get it right using some of known Kenobi history only as a layout. I really hope they stay far away from the already told stories. This last trilogy was soulless regurgitated rubbish They did not need to redo New Hope for a new audience and alienate the old but they sure did it anyways -
The Mandalorian Season 2 - official trailer [ed title]
DuckyBoys replied to Fixxxer's topic in Off the Wall
I really enjoyed it and yeah its basically a old school western with Star Wars trappings. Compared to Rise of Skywalker its Oscar worthy. I wish Hollywood would quit hiring JJ Abrams for classic material . He's a recycler and its tiresome. Looking forward to both the Clone wars new season and Obi Wan next year? -
Should make for fine drama for the NFL and good ratings. Cowboys issues run far deeper than just Jason Garret. Jerry Jones as the GM is never going to work. Too reactionary and not patient enough. He's made some incredibly dumb knee jerk moves . Everybody says the Cowboys are loaded with talent but is it that or are they loaded with overpaid players who dont play up to the big money? Zeke is not running the way he used to. That O line is not worth all that money If they were that good why the heck is the offense going through Dak ? By running it through Dak they are now set up to drastically overpay at QB. Cooper shows up sometimes and he's set to get dumb money. I can see the Cowboys blowing things up soon more than I can see them turning the corner all of a sudden with a guy who could not win consistently with Rodgers

Size and Top Speed - Bills vs the Rest of the NFL
DuckyBoys replied to mramefa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Graph just reaffirms the need for more explosive playmakers around Allen . Bills dont have any 1st rounders on offense besides Josh -
It pains me to write this with the Houston loss still stinging. Much as Daboll drove me nuts its probably best to stick with continuity. Giving Allen a new system to learn would be counter productive. Year two with the personnel intact should show some improvement. Better talent at wr/rb/rt should allow Daboll to call games where Allen is not asked to carry the team on his back. Maybe in the off season the Bills learn how to run a screen game? Maybe we have a 1000 yard rb plus Singeltary. Maybe we dont abandon the run when up by 16 Maybe we run in OT when the clock is absolutely no factor. Maybe we have a viable third wr in all 16 games. Fingers crossed next season brings us better skill guys for Josh. A wiser Daboll who doesnt outsmart himself. A further improved Josh Allen.
