  1. Yeah he's done a nice job of dividing the team by separating offense and defense and now taking shots at arguably the person most responsible for his long term success in Josh Allen
  2. at times I start to wonder if going all in to win or saving face is more important for McDermott
  3. lol luck flips to Ravens
  4. They need to run and show the potential of running the ball on most downs Josh is also going to be better off in pulling the ball down and takng what he can get when they all drop out Do we do it or keep being stubborn and trying to fit the football in Who knows?
  5. he is acceptable just not a difference maker If Beane resigns him I will; be extremely pissed
  6. is he maximizing what he has to work with? If you feel the answer is yes than the onus is on Beane to get more talent in I think we have enough talent but he needs to be shown the door
  7. How about use Harty like Beasley underneath on short routes. Run some screens w the rbs. Do more one step quick passes like in the TB game. Use more motion Run more from the I w Josh under center Run the middle rb screen. Kincaid down the seam. End arounds, jet shuffle pass Maybe not call that sideline mesh concept ever again and spend half a practice on ball security Guys still not putting the ball into the sideline hand and covering it up w both hands in traffic
  8. Gabe has limitations and the Bills keep trying to make him something he is not His hands are still questionable and he is not good route runner Also he doesnt play as "big" as he is Seems he and Josh have been not on the same page often but I blame that on a offense that has far too many decisions being made by both players on the same route Enough of the endless option routes Keep it simple
  9. ask yourself how many times this year you have seen a completion and there are several Bills receivers near each other? I understand they want routes he can process quickly but stacking them virtually a few yards apart seems like asking for defenders to drop underneath and also makes tipped ints far more likely
  10. the offense is predicated by execution vs a good scheme that puts the players in advantageous positions to win At least the way Dorsey was calling it Maybe its salvageable with a different play caller . I hope we dont see shotgun on third and short Little bit of luck would be a nice change Feel like a lot of the turnovers were flukey and feels like any fumble always seems to be recovered by the defense Fingers crossed Sunday's game is watchable
  11. He does need to cut them down but a few were throwaways/arm punts batted balls and bad luck (Gabe Davis stone hands etc) Think they seem much worse because a few were really dumb forced throws The really egregious plays were the Jets ints , the Pats opening drive int and the broncos sideline pick Those were arm arrogance/bad decisions He needs to be better, maybe benefit from a bid of good luck Think it all starts with using the run game more and maybe him figuring out how to move the ball without needing to fit difficult throws more than a handful of times per game
  12. 4-5 in the playoffs. Too many dumb mistakes/poor in game decisions/bad time outs. Prehistoric philosophy of defense/offense. Wasted two years to realize they had zero talent for his qb. Unwillingness to adapt, give other players a shot and owe up to mistakes. I've seen enough to be willing to risk getting someone worse I'm not satisfied with a team that needs their qb to be Superman with no mistakes during a playoff run as the only opportunity to win Heck Josh would have that on many rosters in the league He is that talented McDermott will waste it with his defensive philosophy which the league always seems to exploit in critical moments or do we need to rehash them yet again?
  13. we have three losses based on just turnovers Maybe Dorsey didn't need to call plays every game like we needed to score 40 points or maybe just could run a rpo and actually hand it off There was no need for some of the over aggressive shots in the Jets/Patriots/Broncos losses Its like our offense has one gear/style/mode/game plan Just run the football and throw short safe passes and protect the ball when you are being tackled and we should beat the Jets 99/100 times Maybe Sam Martin can stop kicking line drives Seems like the entire team went to dog crap Bass hasnt been great either You can save the hair on fire stuff for when we play good offenses and the defense struggles
  14. that is another clue that we need leadership change Good teams dont crap their britches in key moments and seems we have come back full circle
  15. well if they dont turn it around he's next Ultimately he is responsible Not helping his case is injuries some bad player moves by Beane and Josh Allen not being able to curtail the turnovers Nothing to be done about player moves we made and injuries but time Our hope is Joe Brady is able to call a more qb friendly offense and settle Allen down
  16. sounds exactly like what we were running w Dorsey
  17. be interesting to see for sure Bills open up with a quick turnover this board is going super nova
  18. Offense was stagnant almost to the point of pop warner football Bills make things too hard 3rd and short run the football from under center Use Harty underneath not have the little guy running deep outs His skill set can be that much different than Beasley Need to have a checkdown available for Allen at all times Where are the screen passes/end arounds/jet sweep? Just because you have a good qb doesnt mean you dont need to mix things up and keep defenses guessing
  19. Lot of truth to that They cant hold a one score lead no matter who the opposing qb is
  20. you dont even need Orlovsky to tell you what your eyes see What a terrible play design and everybody running downfield or slow developing routes when they needed 1 yd to get a new set of downs
  21. Ditto winning a game on a missed fg doesnt inspire confidence It was a game we once again gave away which seems to be a trend for the Bills this season I'd rather McDermott was gone but am willing to see what Josh looks like w Brady calling the shots Still hope they change staff in off season but maybe new OC makes the team little bit more fun to watch
  22. Wade was a defensive coach and his defense often were lights out He didn't get the right guys to run the offense and never had a qb of Josh's caliber A Wade Phillips defense didnt give up leads at end of games often
  23. what they want is not possible They want a safe mistake free offense but yet put in Josh to move the chains Cant have both Either run and take some of the load off and establish space to throw w the threat of the run or live with the consequences of a heavy pass offense
