If There's No 12th Defender, is Dorsey Still Employed??
DuckyBoys replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall
yep no doubt -
Offense was stagnant almost to the point of pop warner football Bills make things too hard 3rd and short run the football from under center Use Harty underneath not have the little guy running deep outs His skill set can be that much different than Beasley Need to have a checkdown available for Allen at all times Where are the screen passes/end arounds/jet sweep? Just because you have a good qb doesnt mean you dont need to mix things up and keep defenses guessing

This team never makes a big stop
DuckyBoys replied to Brianmoorman4jesus's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lot of truth to that They cant hold a one score lead no matter who the opposing qb is -
you dont even need Orlovsky to tell you what your eyes see What a terrible play design and everybody running downfield or slow developing routes when they needed 1 yd to get a new set of downs

Another Buffalo Sports Fan's Gut Punch.....or is it?
DuckyBoys replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ditto winning a game on a missed fg doesnt inspire confidence It was a game we once again gave away which seems to be a trend for the Bills this season I'd rather McDermott was gone but am willing to see what Josh looks like w Brady calling the shots Still hope they change staff in off season but maybe new OC makes the team little bit more fun to watch -
Wade was a defensive coach and his defense often were lights out He didn't get the right guys to run the offense and never had a qb of Josh's caliber A Wade Phillips defense didnt give up leads at end of games often
-
what they want is not possible They want a safe mistake free offense but yet put in Josh to move the chains Cant have both Either run and take some of the load off and establish space to throw w the threat of the run or live with the consequences of a heavy pass offense
-
I doubt we will see new stuff but the playbook is more than what Dorsey was running They can come in with a vision to try and run the ball, run some misdirection, move the pocket, more motion Dorsey was stuck in one gear What is sad is when they finally ran into the light box Denver showed all night they have great success but too little too late Maybe Josh Allen's demeanor looks better and we can assume he and Dorsey were not on the same page

Put yourself in his shoes Lets assume he is a bright guy and understands what this team has and his place in it. He is asked to run a precision passing offense with nothing to fall back on . The offense is pop warner simple and defenses have figured it out On top of he sees the coach is a clown and the defense cant buy a stop in critical moments. His skill guys rarely make big plays for him but often crap their pants when asked to make simple plays Cook fumble, Gabe Davis pass through his hands to a int , Kincaid drop on third down, Diggs drop on third down Its happening week after week and he is looking more tentative by the day

Former Bill Quiton Spain stating the obvious about Dorsey Firing
DuckyBoys replied to FilthyBeast's topic in The Stadium Wall
his stubbornness got him canned by Andy Reid and after 20+ years he is still the same person Some people dont learn or cant grow and adapt Think he is one of them I am sure he is telling Beane its everything but him behind closed doors -
Should The Strength and Conditioning Coaches Get Fired?
DuckyBoys replied to OutOfBubbleGum's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was told by a secret source the rough toilet paper is causing Josh's regression Janitors need to go! -
well with Dorsey gone excuses have run out for Sean. Dorsey didn't have 12 guys on the field for the go ahead td He didn't cause the turnovers (we can debate the second pick on Josh's hole shot into cover 2) McDermott needs to go I hope this wag of the dogs tail doesnt buy him 2024

some fellas dream about that scenario

Jauron was better No talent yet we always were "mediocre" I don't remember the total collapses under Dick We either got blown out by lack of talent or hung in there in one score games McDermott got gifted a unicorn qb and still cant keep shooting himself in the foot
-
4 OC's when you have a franchise qb in place really speaks volumes
-
doesnt seem fair does it

Should The Strength and Conditioning Coaches Get Fired?
DuckyBoys replied to OutOfBubbleGum's topic in The Stadium Wall
no you can only build up a small ball defense so much We have smaller players doing the bulk of the tackling Frankly I'm surprised we haven't had more injuries Linebackers are lightweights and safeties and corners expected to tackle a ton in this scheme -
Good it happened now Now one less excuse for McDermott

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly 12 Men on the Field Addition
DuckyBoys replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
He expects Josh's talent to bail them out and puts blame on everyone but himself Still doesn't understand how to play with a lead at the end of the game and for sure has no clue what he wants when the Bills are up. Self awareness is not everybody's skill set and McDermott is lacking it Repeating the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome is insanity yet here we are -
Bills are 7-14 in games decided by 7 pts or less, last 3 seasons
DuckyBoys replied to Yobogoya!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
well we havent played well in any of the close games this year and really could have easily lost the Giants and Bucs games on walk off losses at the buzzer Defense cant hold a lead at the end or get a stop at the end The offense isnt clicking , they made stupid mistakes and we have seen zero adjustments other than typical McDermott word salad -

from memory we had them in 4th and forever and gave up a checkdown for a huge gain Go back and look at the end of the game last night They panned to McDermott on that last drive and the look on his face was sheer terror It wasnt confidence it wasnt we go this It was how did we get to this point and what do I do now? He knows the world knows he just doesnt have it to gut out the tough moments -
the popeye gif says it all The "process" has castrated our qb Need to get rid of the cancer before the team buys into the permanent mediocrity

McDermott should sit himself for being a big choker
