Maybe they can make Foster/Zay work as slot and outside wr #2 we don't have a true #1 Foster can get open by running away from guys but that works best on crossing routes and deeper routes Zay needs time to get open Honestly we need a Steve Johnson who seemed to get open right away with all those basketball court set up moves right off the line of scrimmage Wouldn't hurt to have the receivers actually make some contested/adjustment catches.

I still saw progress even today He kept his eyes down field on the td to Zay. He didn't flee a good pocket repeatedly. Allen put the ball where only his wr could get it 5 times where on each play it would have been a td and we got a fg out of all of that

I don't know I watched just him on many snaps and he didnt even look like he was trying to hold the point of attack and occupy blockers More often than not he turned away from the blocker or spun away from the play. Didn't look like a guy hungry , more like a guy wanting to stay healthy to cash those checks

Agreed, 2019 Bills should be a 10 win team. Beane has enough $$ and draft capital to fix a lot of woes talent wise. They get it wrong Pegula's should clean house. Brandon Beane will be a busy boy this off season I expect some picks traded for players teams cannot afford to keep plus day 1 of free agency better be a big day with some difference makers signed. Whether you like Allen or think he's terrible we can all surely agree he had little to no help from the players around him. Beane and McDermott's jobs are on the line. I'll give them the pass through 2019 but I expect 10 wins next year. I expect Beane to have cauliflower ear from being on the phone exploring every option to address much of the starting offense. I'll say Allen, Foster, Dawkins, maybe Teller and Shady are starting quality players. Go address a lot of that in free agency then go bpa in the draft. I'd start calling teams that might be in rebuild/retool mode and send later round picks for players. Maybe they can trade for a AJ Green and assume the salary but you have to get at least one outside guy who wins his matchup. You cant run a offense where you ask the qb to fit every throw into little windows because his guys can break from coverage Or to hold the football for a long time to let plays develop on every down. They fix the issues and Allen still struggles then go to FA for a qb.
