They fix the O line and run game will be just fine. Bell scares the crap out of me #1 is he really a special back? Steelers run game didn't see a great drop off #2 he gets that big pay day is he check out?

My point is Allen hits a td or two in those several opportunities and Bills could/would have won. Nobody would be nitpicking check downs and missed throws if guys stepped up and made plays for this guy. He is never going to be a 70% Drew Brees dink and dunk guy. His success is going to come when the Bills have skills guy who can reel in the several big throw opportunities he is going to deliver downfield. And for the record enough Logan Thomas, Bills have been "developing" this guy for what 4 years.

Has anyone make a great play for Allen this year? Has Logan Thomas ever made a great catch for the Bills? You watch any of the high powered offenses and there are two, three great plays made by the skill guys for the qb each and every week.

He's done He likes to bounce plays and he does not have the juice left in his legs to do those change of direction moves. Short field quicks are gone and he was never a great between the tackles guy Can he still run through a huge hole for 20 yards? But so can any young back with fresh legs. Still has great hands so might be a good safety valve type back

Yeah he will need to learn to take some of those but that was not going to change the outcome of the football game. With zero run game the Bills were not going to win by methodically dinking and dunking down the field against the all in the box coverages the Pats used. Patriots took away Allen's run lanes and played tight coverage and the opening was throws 1/1 down field Allen game his guys numerous looks to take advantage and they all failed to make a play. Its funny coming from Bruce Arians since Andrew Luck under Arians always held the football and pushed it downfield. Allen strength is to push the football Once we get players that can compete for the football and actually catch routine balls with their hands and not have them bounce of their numbers things will look better. Bottom line is the Bills were in the game if one or two of the 4 or 5 opportunities Allen out there were capitalized in by his team mates..

Guys the easy out for Josh would be to take the 2 yard check down on 3rd and 12 and get those stats up Play it safe not move the ball and shuffle the blame on no run game an nobody open. Kid is trying to make plays. Lets see what he looks like with a quality support cast around him. Meantime he needs to keep grinding and learning on how not to be tempted to throw those late balls into the teeth of the defense Hopefully he learns. Fitz never did

They don't win 10 games in 2019 McDermott/Beane are gone. Beane gutted the roster to rebuild. They used draft/fa heavy on defense and spent a lot of draft capital for Allen/Edmunds. Enough is enough, get the right pieces in and field a decent team

He was pretty dominant when they had some skill position players and his body was right. Olsen is always broke. Steve Smith got old retired Benjamin got fat/traded. They have Mccaffrey who is a stud. I'm not sure Newton can be a top 10 qb without using his body to run Big part of his game Read option and the run fake to set up downfield shots

Its the same thing week after week. Allen is a rookie he is going to make mistakes but when he makes a good throw and gives his guys chances to make plays they need to get it done. Game goes off the track early. First Allen hits McKenzie deep over the middle on a third and long and he drops it. Next Allen hits Foster over the top on a bomb and Foster never locates the fb although on game film sure looks like his eyes/head follow the ball up to down. Next ,fade in the end zone Foster stumbles and does't work back to it or at least make contact with Gilmore who is beat and is not even looking for the football. Croom inside the ten fighting for a foot loses the football. Logan Thomas lets a perfectly placed football go right through his hands for a what would be a td. McKenzie gets hit early in end zone no PI. Zay Jones m.i.a. till late 4th quarter. Allen is trying to win a football game with zero run game and two practice squad wrs. The two picks are 100% on Josh Bad throws late and should have never been thrown One was really bad being on first down. One terrible throw way over the receiver I dont remember any other glaring bad throws. Kid needs help. Shady is washed up, Clay checked out last year.

if his receivers just came through on some of the dimes he dropped we could have won The kid gives guys a shot to make big plays, Bills need to go out and get the guys to make those plays

McDermott again left a lot to be desired. Not sure what Daboll is doing either Honestly I'd have let Allen throw on basically every down Pats went big upfront and put tons of bodies right around the line of scrimmage Waste of time running into that Some of the routes on third downs were just plain stupid You need less than 5 how about a rub route , a natural pick or stack your wrs? No we throw an a crossfield out to a wr who gets zero seperation Why even had those routes, they are low % Just because Allen has a canon doesn't mean you need to design the lowest % passes humanely possible

He's done as a difference maker Belicheck won with Cassel so even a gimpy Brady afraid to step into throws and with a Peterman arm will still get it done long as they have a run game and some defense. He just wont win them games when the game script doesnt go their way No running game equals pats loss

Coaching seems to get them +10 pts I don't remember a game where the Bills coaching was better than Belicheck Maybe the Fitz shootout game when Hoodie was in disbelief down at the end of the game. Today was no different Frazier didnt adjust till the Pats were up 14 basically just running the football and they never had the ends stay home to take away the Jets sweep Pats must have run that play 6 or 7 times for close to a 100 yards How many times does Trent need to watch the guy run by him before he stays home on the edge?

If Joe Montana and Dan Marino made a love child that child would still struggle passing to the discard pile Allen is working with. Lets see what the offense looks like in 2019 with some real skill guys and linemen who can open a hole for a rb

Maybe they can make Foster/Zay work as slot and outside wr #2 we don't have a true #1 Foster can get open by running away from guys but that works best on crossing routes and deeper routes Zay needs time to get open Honestly we need a Steve Johnson who seemed to get open right away with all those basketball court set up moves right off the line of scrimmage Wouldn't hurt to have the receivers actually make some contested/adjustment catches.

I still saw progress even today He kept his eyes down field on the td to Zay. He didn't flee a good pocket repeatedly. I don't know we'll see a whole lot more till other issues get fixed in the off season. He gave his guys plenty of opportunities to make some big plays but they just didn't get it done on the other end

On offense we need C, G and one tackle TE who can block and offer something in the short passing game, WR who can win vs man and make contested catches. Arguably rb but hard to say with the line this bad at run blocking. Defense needs a dominant D tackle and a starting cb and lber depth or a mlb so Edmunds can go play outside Also a punter/holder and a ST coach That is a tall order

from memory the asking price was a 2nd and 3rd Anything would have been good just to get rid of the salary Without a stud OL he's useless

at 10 Mill a year he better be a strength Several games this year the Bills got run on at will and we havent been able to stop teams running in short yardage either Star is best mediocre against the run and offers nothing in the passing game

the check downs will come once O line improves We have had enough check down masters and still could not move the football

You forgot the end zone throw to Mckenzie that he got hit on early that should have been a PI and the throw to Foster with Gilmore back turned that Foster didnt make an adjustment on. Allen put the ball where only his wr could get it 5 times where on each play it would have been a td and we got a fg out of all of that
