  1. no I totally agree, sorry. I meant that in a positive way as weird as it was. point was that we're not really missing anything.
  2. Take away the interceptions and his stat line was a "good" Tyrod day.
  3. Next week is going to be a slaughter. This Vikings team at home? Hope Allen survives.
  4. Pretty sure Murph just got Kelso's name wrong. This is going to be the longest season ever.
  5. To be completely fair though he has never lit it up like this before. Never ever. This is super saiyan Fitz right now.
  6. Another TD. 8 in 7 quarters. This is Fitz's league now apparently.
  7. He's made like $55 million in his career so far I believe, and I bet he'll find a team that will pay him millions three years from now. I heard he went to Harvard. I love Fitz.
  8. Fitz has 688 yards and 7 TDs in six quarters this season. Bonkers.
  9. Dude, Fitzpatrick. Wow. He's like, exactly the type of QB that this team needs with Allen right now...
  10. But on the other hand David Carr is also the best real chance that the Raiders have had since friggin' Gannon. 15 years!
  11. Hack-en-berg, Hack-en-berg **** that could actually happen with this staff
  12. Allen's going to make mistakes and probably get hit a lot, but I fully expect him to put up some yards and function like an actual QB this week. I have to think he'd hit some of these.
  13. No, no, no, and no. All good points. If you have anybody talented that plays anywhere near a real #1 then you run them out. I was honestly surprised that Peterman even started week 1, but better somewhat late than never I guess. Starting talented rookie QBs is more the norm right now than the whole sit, wait, and cultivate idea that seems to be so popular but yet has really only successfully happened like three times in NFL history. Constant fortune only shines upon Satan worshipping freaks like Robert Kraft. You rarely have a Tom Brady sitting in your stable who has learned for 2 or 3 years and is just ready to go, coach! You all remember Charlie Whitehurst? It felt like that guy was cultivated to be the next #1 QB for something like a decade and it never panned out. Waiting is not always the best idea. Add Trubisky to that start immediately list, who actually looks to have taken a step forward this year.
  14. I think you can ruin a rookie QB, but I don't agree that playing a rookie QB early ruins them at all. Hell, start that rookie Day 1. Not everybody has a Favre/Rodgers situation. Making a rookie learn the job early, like any job really, is not a death sentence. The over-achievers will prosper. What I do think ruins them is the indecisiveness and paranoia from coaching staffs/owners/whatever that causes rookie QBs to get pulled two games after you start them. Who then start them again two games later, and then rinse, repeat, etc. That seems more reserved for project QBs taken too early (EJ, Kizer), and it just does not seem to ever work out. Allen is raw, but is not a project QB. He's an A+ ideal mold of a prototypical 2018 QB, so you just can't pull him after starting him in fears of ruining his mental. You need to just keep running him out there at this point. That shouldn't ruin him if he's a true #1, but the horrible injuries that he may sustain behind this line definitely could.
  15. 17-29, 224 yds, 2 TD, 2 INT. 6 carries, 32 yds. Too many sacks but no serious concussion, hopefully. We lose 31-17 but it's actual football and a step in the right direction.
  16. This really is just an unnecessary amount of drama for a borderline bust from a small school. Who plays on one of the worst teams in the league, and who just had a complete and utter breakdown that would force most people into hiding out of sheer embarrassment. I'm starting to think that Zay is a spoiled, coddled, bubble boy who either ultimately won't be able to deal with any adversity, or rather, may truly deal with real adversity for the first time in his damn life and will just like, develop a case of the yips as a result of it or something. Either way, not good. This kid is far from professional and seemingly ready for the NFL despite everything that I've heard. Don't coddle your kids, helicopter parents. They ain't that special.
  17. Much more succinct than I put it. "It's never been Zay's fault" is what I'm picking up from his parents, and what may end up being the fundamental issue here.
  18. I feel like this weirdness is ultimately just another strike against a player who's on the total bust fence as it is. Zay is obviously weirdly close with his family and the whole "my son can't do no wrong" entitled mentality is just not good for a kid who fizzled out in his rookie year and may have mental/emotional problems... Hell, on the other hand, imagine if he actually becomes good and what contract negotiations will be like with this support circle? Nonsense like this is just horribly unprofessional to the point of being toxic in my opinion.
  19. Benjamin sucks. So does Zay. What has he proven? Seeing his Mommy get involved with team issues when the kid just got naked and practically cut his foot off while attempting to jump to his death isn't a good look either...
  20. 100% agree. I didn't even really think twice about KB considering the source. Seeing his Mom continue to be a helicopter mother when Zay clearly has his own issues (all of which is probably connected) actually makes Zay look worse, imo. He's got plenty of his own stuff for him and his Mommy to worry about.
  21. "Trash", really? For protesting? I personally think "trash" should be reserved for somebody like Jameis Winston rather than a decent dude who never hit a woman, but I guess we have different standards. Kaepernick is light years beyond Peterman, but would clearly be a terrible fit for this fanbase...
  22. Multiple people agree, but I guess we're all just dumb racists huh? Exactly why I didn't even want to bring it up, but I was being as objective as possible, and it doesn't seem to be a very crazy assumption. Where there's smoke there's fire. Hell, I don't even think he's trying to cover it up much at this point, "trolling" is a great way to put it.
  23. I'm not personally that fired up about it and think that Jalen Ramsey is a top-2 cornerback in the league right now. He's amazing. Doesn't mean that he may not be a callous POS .
