Steelers are in a rare position to basically have a QB getting paid top QB money but most of it is being paid by and costs the cap of another team. Only problem is he doesn't play like he's getting paid like that.

I'm glad we didn't move on from a core team player like him that's been solid at that spot especially with no clear plan behind him, like that wouldn't have seemed smart. It is a part of the game and would obviously depend on why they're looking for the trade, if it's just contract then yeah it's just as much a tool for a new contract as it is for getting traded somewhere that will give them one. But when someone gets tagged then the player is obviously going to want a negotiated deal whether it's on the current team or elsewhere.

Everybody that gets tagged wants a deal or a trade, being a diva has nothing to do with it.
