    I think more than anything it has been a distraction since it happened. Obviously, it would be...not complaining about it. It's just that once that happened it was going to always "be there" this season.

    1000% blood in the water. The Patriots have a bunch of money I believe and the Jets need a QB (easier said than done) and they will be solid. And Miami, if they don't scramble their QBs brain, should be an 11+ win team. Things just got a helluva lot harder around these parts. Good thing we won a SB with Allen before the rest of the division caught up.

    Yeah, but if someone is a legit Cowboys fan and had been for a long while...they have 5 SB wins. Mediocrity and choking the playoffs sucks...but it probably feels a hell of a lot better if you have those SB wins in the bank.

    People talk about the Chargers and how they blow it a lot. I would put us right there with them as chokers (especially if you add in the 4 SBs and the music city BS...obviously not McD's time...but still). I fear that the owners really love him and he will have to have back to back non-playoff seasons before he would get fired.

    I don't think they will change OC or DC...probably so position group coach as sacrificial lambs. McDermott is too stubborn and arrogant to make the big changes needed.

    We need down and dirty, aggressive playmakers who play with a chip on their shoulder. So sick of character guys and humble and hungry nonsense. As obnoxious as the Bengals' cockiness is, it works for them.

    4 poor losses if you look at the Houston game giving up the 16 point lead and the big 3rd down in OT. It's our playoff thing now.

    I can envision a 30 for 30 some day about the wasted talent of Josh Allen with Buffalo. How he was on the rise, made amazing plays, but coaching, personnel decisions, etc. relegated him to a passing memory. Classic Bills stuff.

    I think his prime years have already been wasted based on the rise of the rest of the AFC. We missed the window last year and now we aren't just behind KC (as we will likely be forever), but also Cincy. Miami and Jets (assuming they find a QB) will push us for the division as well. Chargers, if they stop Chargering will also be in the mix.

    If by few you mean completely new offensive and defensive lines, new safeties, better corners, an actual pass rusher, a new/better OC, a change in conservative/scared defensive philosophy, 3 new WRs...then I totally agree with you.

    It sure has. But at the end of the day, if we don't have the players to run the D that McD wants to, then they need to adjust and try something. They just seem so stubborn with their defensive approach. Almost arrogantly so.
