Actually we kind of get boned on the Thanksgiving game as we play the following Thursday at NE...THEN we get the long post-Thursday layoff before the next game.

My guess is he has to look at the tape. But seriously, unless the injury is serious (as in done for the season) I don't think we'll learn much from McD. He is usually guarded on that and just says he'll defer to the medical staff.

Well that is a dangerous game to play because there aren't many KC-level games left on the schedule (maybe Cincy). We have tough games upcoming based on the teams we play but those games don't have the glitz and glamor of the KC's of the NFL. I wish this team could learn to play at a high level regardless of the opponent.

Considering we are basically at the half-way point of the 2022 NFL season, figured it would be interesting to gauge people's thoughts on where the Bills end up at season's end.

The whole team lost their edge. It's the dreaded Super Bowl hang over two years in a row. Beat KC in Arrowhead...pop bottles...grow a mustache...then come crashing back to earth.

It's almost as if the Bills were the underdog and jumped out to the lead and then the Jets settled in and played their game.

I was having this discussion with my brother yesterday. If yesterday was the Super Bowl, I think Poyer, Milano, White, et al, would all be out there. But if we keep losing games we can/should win because we are too thin, we'll never get the chance to be in the Super Bowl. I like the McD is cautious with injuries but man, he reeeeaaaallllyyyy likes to play the long game with injuries.

I've often wondered about the "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" aspect of being a Bills fan. But I also think what will end up killing me is all of those years of things that didn't kill me...finally piling up. I hate football.

No, I get it. It's not like we got knocked out of the playoffs yesterday. I think it's more the WAY we lost (and couple with last week's 2nd half) that gives me pause.

I've thought about this recently. If we can get a SB I might just retire. It's too exhausting to care so much about something I have zero control over.

I hear you...but honestly, there are only a game or two more of us being able to say "hey, we're the 1 seed and division leader". Lost next week to Minny and suddenly we're NOT the 1 seed and we're in 3rd place in the division. We're trending in the wrong direction.

I agree with this overall take. It feels like more than just 1 loss. All of the AFC east moves a game closer, the Chiefs move a game closer...and the Bills not only lost but looked like complete garbage. This feels like a trend since the bye week, and with Minny coming in (and heck even the Browns the week after), it suddenly feels like do or die time. I just hope these Bills don't turn into the Philip Rivers led Chargers...good most of the time but could never get a SB.

Remember when Denver had a WR at QB....I think due to covid? Even THAT guy was better.
