    I just looked up Purdy's stats for this game. 60% complete, 324, and 3 TDs. Watching the game I assumed he had like 150 yards passing. His guys are YAC machines.

    I would be willing to bet the fear of losing is one of the biggest motivators for elite athletes. I don't have the time or desire to go on a search for quotes, but I've heard many professional athletes speak about the fear of losing sometimes being a bigger motivator than the desire to win.

    I would assume they are Wed-Fri, with travel Saturday, game Sunday. I think in most cases, Tuesdays are player days off (they may train/lift/etc. but they don't have team organized practice).

    Agreed. I hate that they don't just make it mandatory to wait until season is over. Kinda need our coaches tunnel vision right now.

    His back will be all healed up for limited practice on Wednesday and Thursday, full on Friday and play on Saturday. Magically of course.

    Better consistency with the offensive game plan. Don't want/need to turn into a running team, but more emphasis on the run game would help sustain some drives. Cook has been impressive the last month+. Good speed hitting the hole and makes smooth cuts.

    I think it's a guess. But honestly, I am 99.9% sure Tua will suddenly be magically cleared to play. It's how McNerdials operates.

    Simon just posted a thread about Jordan Philips being injured (didn't notice during the game). So there's that. Spencer Brown got dinged up a couple of times too. But not sure what it was.

    That was one thing that was good with Dabol...he would get all over Josh when he made mistakes (remember the 3 int game in 2019 against the Pats...he chewed Allen out on the sideline for like 2 minutes). I think Allen needs someone to keep him in check a little.

    I know the opening kickoff TD counts, but this game could be seriously ugly if we didn't hit that. This team needs to get its head out of its ass and start playing even 50% up to their potential.

    Agree to an extent. An INT there is a terrible mistake (like his fumble in the endzone against Minn). He deserves the criticism, just as he deserves credit when he wins us games. It doesn't have to be an either/or.
