  1. I was hoping one of you guys here could have explained that time out to me???
  2. I'm not saying he shouldn't get the ball early. In fact I think he should. My only point is let's do what we need to do to get the win. I'm nervous about this game, unlike some on this board.
  3. Win game first, then worry about Gore's yards
  4. Some trivia - Mike Purcell played his college ball at Wyoming too. Phillip Lindsay was on the list earlier this week. I guess his status is good to go too?
  5. I'll be at the game. What are the details around this tailgate?
  6. If Lindsay isn't 100% it's going to be a long day for the Bronco offense.
  7. I have absolutely no doubt that the key to a win Sunday is our defense getting a turnover to two. I think the offenses will have it tough all game. We'll need the Bill's D to win this game.
  8. I don't mind field goals but it sure feels like we have to settle on too many attempts. I'd like to convert one or two of those attempts into TDs down the stretch. Reduce the number of times we stall after crossing mid field. Those extra 4/8 pts are huge.
  9. Josh is having some fun regarding it called the Border War (Wyo vs Colorado State). Mike Klis' twitter has some of ii, with much appreciation. We love us some Josh in Wyoming! https://twitter.com/MikeKlis?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author https://twitter.com/VicLombardi?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author https://www.denverpost.com/2019/11/20/josh-allen-wyoming-csu-football/
  10. Elway followed Josh around a lot his junior year at UW. Denver was one of the teams that I didn't want Josh ending up at.
  11. I guess I stand corrected. Perhaps it's the routes the Vikes use vs what the Bills use? Most likely, it's simply pure ignorance on my part
  12. Red Zone or QB sneak with a yard or less to go. These should be the only designed runs called for Josh. His most exciting runs are when he's scrambling.
  13. Oh I totally agree with you. My point, which I just stated in another response, is that a QBs stats would improve simply by improving the talent around him. Regarding your point about the supporting cast around Josh being exponentially better than it was last year, I'm not sure I agree. Perhaps because last year's cast was pretty weak. I love Brown but I'm not sure he's a #1 receiver, relative to other #1s in the league. He's certainly a very good #2. I think this O has a ton of potential. Overall, they are still below the NFL average in my opinion.
  14. I prefer the eyeball test and based on that, I agree with you. But my point is a better line, better RB and better WRs would make a QB's stats improve even if the QB remained static.
