  1. Well considering the coaching staff and scouting staff are entirely different, I don’t get the point.
  2. That's a real twisted description of what Beane said. Then again, what's the issue of taking an athlete that's versatile and letting the staff maximize his ability?
  3. If went on every thread in the last 3 days and compiled all of your posts repeating this same statement, I could put together a thread that rivals the stupid ***** 100 page Breece Hall thread. Enough already.
  4. Shameless plug as ESPN conducted a similar analysis. They were just a year and a half behind. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33297949/nfl-draft-which-teams-gotten-best-value-2012-rank-all-32
  5. Haha ESPN’s analysis looks familiar… I did it over a year ago and refreshed it this January. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33297949/nfl-draft-which-teams-gotten-best-value-2012-rank-all-32
  6. Let's examine this great quote as it pertains to pass catchers... Reid/Veach this off-season: ADDED/KEPT Marquez Valdes-Scantling (3 year deal) Juju Smith-Schuster (1 year deal) MOVED ON Demarcus Robinson (FA) Byron Pringle (FA) Tyreek Hill (Trade) McDermott/Beane this off-season: ADDED/KEPT Stefon Diggs (4 year extension + 2 existing years left) Isaiah McKenzie (2 year extension) Jamison Crowder (1 year FA) OJ Howard (1 year FA) MOVED ON Emmanuel Sanders (FA) Cole Beasley (Release) What exactly did Reid/Veach do different than McDermott/Beane this off-season that screams "offense is prioritized" ?
  7. It’s not negligence if people posting on TBD driver declare that the 7th best WR is worth a first round pick.
  8. What about Beane and McDermott being here for 5 years with next to zero leaked information gives you an idea that vibes and gossips goes around in the building? Being an insider, in a different organization, I can promise you that what you’re describing doesn’t happen like you’re describing it.
  9. There's absolutely zero shot that their draft decisions are well known in the building - at least where every player is aware. Especially pending free agents months in advance of the draft. I'm sorry, but it doesn't work this way.
  10. $4.5M/year over two years in free agency is extremely different than weighing the opportunity cost in RD1 of drafting a RB vs. a cost controlled player at a premium position. McKissic himself was a UDFA. He’s a pass catching specialist, so there isn’t a worry about him taking the ball out of Josh’s hands, he’s an extension of Josh as he is a pass catcher. Hall may be a similar profile, but it doesn’t change the issue of the value lost by selecting a RB early.
  11. As long as it's before 4pm we're good. I have a Mock Draft competition and my submission is due then. 😂
  12. The value of a RB on a RD1 deal vs a premier position on a RD1 deal. The fact that a RD1 pick has a 5th year option that’s extremely valuable and most RB don’t remain effective after 4-5 years. The fact that you said he’s a better version of McKissic who was an UDFA that signed for $3.5M/year. That in itself screams not worth the value of a RD1 pick lol
  13. Running backs aren’t worth RD1 picks. They’re just not worth it. 25 is upper RD2 talent wise just about every year… Upper RD2 value is fine, but that 5th year option on a premier position is way more important.
  14. That’s fine and probably true… but is a better McKissic a RD1 pick? I can’t get behind this and I’m a pretty big McBeane guy.
  15. Starter for Tennessee last year at RT. Graded out well as a run blocker. Had some struggles pass blocking. Nice little depth sign at this stage of free agency with some starting experience.
  16. Isn’t she one of the Brent Musberger girls from FSU?
  17. If you’re dizzy looking at our needs, fans of other NFL teams must have motion sickness this off-season. You know, considering the Bills are one of, if not the deepest team in the NFL.
  18. It’s just kind of what you do… got your marquee people on the horn and have them be a point of contact.
  19. Data shows that teams who over or under perform in 1 score games end up trending back towards the middle. We should be roughly .500 in our 1 score games this year.
  20. BUST. Only kidding. A player who is a wild card like this can never be a bust… it’s like a 7th round pick. They can’t be a bust.
  21. Honestly for all the complaining our pass defense gets on this board, I’m shocked Miami fans aren’t losing their ***** after Howard and then Howard/Jones have had zero success stopping Josh Allen.
  22. Supposedly brought up on NFL Live that we’ve inquired on Stephon Gilmore along with 2-3 other teams. I think it’s just further proof Beane has to be kicking the tires on all the DB left out there. I don’t think we sign him… but we were “in on” Peterson… we’re definitely waiting this market out.
  23. If we’re looking at production on paper, they’re virtually identical. The rest of the the stuff you listed isn’t “production on paper.”
