  1. I suppose I’ll give you credit for the Edmunds answer… not sure how you *miss* on your evaluation of a player when he signs for the 3rd highest LB AAV in the league, but I’ll give you that one because it’s the closest you are to being right. Bringing up 5th and 7th round pick picks is odd considering it’s hard to hit there.
  2. Yeah, horrible decision to take Bernard in RD3. Knowing that, we should totally make snap judgments on Dorian Williams.
  3. Is there room for both Jones and Ford at once? Ford takes Phillips spot, who would be inactive to allow Jones to be active?
  4. For some reason I thought there was substantial dead cap. We can save $5M with only $500k dead cap by releasing him pre-6/1… yeah see ya Nyheim. We better release him lol
  5. Ty Johnson should be back next year. He’s been great as the 3rd back - he’s made numerous positive plays in a limited role. Cook/Johnson/Hines is a versatile room in ‘24. Bring in a vet and an UDFA for camp as well to see if they can take Hines spot, but he has the leg up because of his return ability (given he’s himself after the ACL).
  6. I’m purely speculating here, but Elam had his practice window open on December 6th. He is over two weeks into his 3 week window to be activated. It’s about time to make a decision - Elam being listed as questionable leaves the door open to activation from IR. Phillips being placed on the IR opens a spot on the 53. That spot in my mind is filled by Elam right now because you have Poona Ford or Eli Ankou (as you stated) to make active to replace Phillips. I wouldn’t add Ankou to the 53 because you subject him to waivers whenever you decide to remove him. Jones was just activated on Monday/Tuesday and we know that he won’t necessarily be ready until next week at the earliest, so it’s not time to have him occupy an active roster spot just yet. When Jones is ready I bet they move on from Poona Ford. It’s simply a timing thing in my mind. I don’t necessarily think Elam will be active this week, but they’ll want him available down the stretch here… Shorter will likely have his season end after this 3 week practice session wraps up. He can begin to focus on taking Sherfield’s spot in 2024.
  7. My guess is Elam is activated from the IR and takes Phillips spot? Shorter won’t be activated so he’s out?
  8. Agreed. It likely will not be this year, but we’ll lose him if we don’t elevate him some time soon. A scenario where Babich has the title and McDermott calls the plays works for me.
  9. Bobby Babich for Defensive Coordinator ‘24
  10. I’ve interacted with you before, you troll.
  11. Bro. You said he starts fights and hides behind others, I provided a clip of the opposite and you deflected. There’s likely good reason you’ve been banned 10 times, you’re not a positive contributor.
  12. You’re around far too much with very little to contribute.
  13. Lord you love moving the goal posts.
  14. Yeah, you’re right…
  15. The prevailing thought is that Ryan Bates is the heir apparent.
  16. Don’t look now, but he only has one fewer INT and one fewer fumble than Josh.
  17. I’ve always thought he was overrated. Success in college involved having RD1 picks and All-Pro NFL talent around him. Before that it wasn’t great. He’s had one of the best supporting casts in the NFL since returning from his ACL injury. Lucky for him, in the year Higgins likely walks, they’re going to pick high enough to replace him with Rome Odunze. He’s a GREAT player, but needs the supporting cast more than Mahomes or Allen.
  18. 37 total tackles, 5 TFL, 8 QB hits, 2 PD, 1 FR and 1 INT in 23 games. 41 total tackles, 5 TFL, 11 QB hits, 0 PD, 0 FR and 1 FF in 35 games.
  19. 4.5 sacks in 23 games for Buffalo vs. 4 sacks in 35 games for Las Vegas? The horror.
  20. 17 receptions for 176 yards and 3 TD? SUPER productive. Nacua has more catches in 1 game than Hodgins has all year lol
  21. Ah yeah, I see why how it was phrased was confusing. He can set the NFL record for total TD. Absolutely.
  22. It’ll be hard for him to get to 207 rushing TDs haha Mahomes has 23 TDs and 13 turnovers Hurts has 31 TDs and 15 turnovers
  23. I mean that’s what I don’t understand. Josh produces as QB1 and RB1 every year… it’s insane he’s not the MVP. Not that this matters league wide, but he’s like 4th on the all-time Bills list in touchdowns from scrimmage. It’s kind of wild. Praying to God things go right… he can end up our all time passing TD and scrimmage TD leader lol
  24. Two actually. He’s up to 16 turnovers on the season. Josh has 17.
  25. Sooooo it’s likely that the clock will strike 12 on those other teams and they’ll turn into a pumpkin? Meanwhile we pick up steam and get to go to the ball?
