  1. Uhh you usually know things… This would make sense for them when the recoup what they gave up to acquire Justin Herbert (per CTESPN). Draft a cheaper WR to pair with Addison.
  2. “Simply” The decision wasn’t Diggs or Jefferson. The decision was Diggs or the 22nd pick.
  3. Why are you so miserable? Genuinely worried about you, man.
  4. Thank you for providing comic relief as frequently as you do.
  5. Oh no, a perennial contender that’s in striking distance of a Super Bowl. The horror.
  6. It has nothing to do with being a McDermott fan boy and everything to do with you being an incessant whiner. Over and over again, your posts just read like a middle school girl, occasionally you provide a little more depth, but it’s tired. As for your second part pointing out that the Bills are worse after trading Diggs, as if that’s something that Brandon Beane doesn’t think is true? He said it today in the press conference. You’re choosing to incorrectly read between the lines and then skip real words that came out of the man’s mouth. Your separate thread about your emotional attachment proves the point.
  7. Holy run on sentence to make something fit your narrative, Batman.
  8. I guess I am curious what the narrative would have been in KC had the Bills won in the Divisional Round in 2021. That they lost because of poor decision making or that Josh Allen is just an elite QB and did elite QB things? The guy on the other sideline is the ONLY other guy in the NFL that can be mentioned in the same breath as Josh, or maybe the other way around, Josh is the only guy that can be mentioned in the same breath as him.
  9. It’s funny, because Josh is hands down better than Burrow in the playoffs… likes it’s not even close.
  10. That’s not where the “Beane loves Panthers” stuff originated. DeShawn Williams isn’t a career Panther, or McBean Era Panther, or draft pick of Dan Morgan… he’s a journeyman that’s more recognizable for his 3 stints with Denver than anything to do with North or South Carolina, let alone the Carolina Panthers.
  11. They're one-year deals for depth purposes. The median age of NFL free agents is 28 years old... it is hard to get younger through free agency. We have given out 5 multiyear deals so far this offseason to players with a median age of 27.6. The median age of all players that we've signed so far is 28. It's really not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be.
  12. Jesus Christ. He played for the Panthers for 1 season… 2023. We’re 7 years removed from McBeane being there… are some of you that clueless?
  13. Sweats, try a little positivity one time man, you’re bringing down the mood. Did I say these poor coaches? I just said it’s a weird place to be. Not for nothing, most of the coaches on staff aren’t making millions of dollars. There are plenty of guys in those offices typically making much less than even six figures and undoubtedly feel the things I’m describing above.
  14. Working in professional sports is such a weird place to be. You get hired knowing you're going to get fired and there really isn't anything you can do to stop it. Your success hinges on so many unpredictable factors, in this case, the performance of 53(ish) individuals that you're required to get to pull in one direction. More often than not, you're getting fired because of a metaphorical angry mob with torches and pitchforks upset with your performance. It can be justified, some other times it is not. Fans view success as binary - "Win a Super Bowl" or "We Suck". Unfortunately, it's much more nuanced than that, but fans (short for fanatic: a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, especially for an extreme religious or political cause) have a hard time acknowledging all of the factors. Realistically, most fans have no clue what really goes into the operation - roster rules, salary cap, official rules, etc. They just look at everything through a very narrow-minded viewpoint of Super Bowl or Bust. The point being made by Sean McDermott isn't some sort of deflection, it's acknowledging they've objectively had a tremendous amount of success throughout his tenure despite not being crowned Super Bowl Champions. That's because success in the NFL is more of a spectrum as opposed to 0s and 1s like @Ethan in Clevelandwould like to believe.
  15. It wasn't a simple break of his tibia... It was a tibial plateau fracture... pretty common for the recovery to be non-weight bearing for 6-12 weeks post op.
  16. Yeah, what a jackass. Keeps putting out a perennial Division Champion that's a Super Bowl favorite year in and year out. Stupid ####### that Beane guy is.
  17. Maybe when he tore his ACL, not the fact he signed with the team. It was a smart swing, unfortunate outcome.
  18. Were those guys getting targeted as WR1? It was a volume thing lol
  19. Yeah, because he was their defacto WR1 down the stretch in 2022 lol
  20. Buddy Nix hasn’t been running things for quite some time now.
  21. Beane and McDermott are so dumb for letting him go and get poached by the Giants 🤪
  22. And you do? Someone just laid out all the rookies that McDermott has played and started here... and you don't even reply. You just give them an "X" and keep spewing some bull####.
  23. The flip side of this, is having depth options already on the roster gives you more flexibility on draft day(s). Then it is best man wins.
