  1. They already replaced CB and C, possibly SS as well. It seems inevitable that WR is addressed in RD1 or RD2. That leaves an additional edge rusher and FS. It's not a situation that's "no big deal" but they're in fine shape.
  2. WR2 will be a new starter, but likely a high pick. One new starter on the O-Line but two position changes if it's true McGovern will move to OC. Two new starting safeties. 4 total, so we're returning 18/22.
  3. He's going to play significant snaps in September and October. Phillips MIGHT be ready Week 1 but likely won't be 100%. Chubb won't be back until November at the earliest.
  4. Nahhhhhhhhh. Facts aren't important.
  5. Ben Dover and Mike Hunt have their finger on the pulse too
  6. @Billl #Confirmed Dick Trickle guy. Let’s get some T-Shirts made for ya
  7. I mean he could, he was released.
  8. Talk about lack of understanding. You seem to be the expert lol
  9. I promise I do underststand, I also understand as well. It’s a plenty reasonable comp. Schultz is a comparable player to Dawson Knox, their spots on the depth chart are a product of their environment and not their talent. The Bills have two starting caliber TE, Houston has one. I’ll ask again, would Dalton Schultz be TE1 here in Buffalo?
  10. Yeah, glad they recouped pennies on the dollar with that trade. They botched the most important position in the game multiple times until lucking into Purdy. 49ers get: 2021 first-round pick (No. 3 overall) Dolphins get: 2021 first-round pick (No. 12 overall) 2022 first-round pick (No. 29 overall) 2022 third-round pick (No. 101 overall) 2023 first-round pick (No. 29 overall) They’re well run, but they’ve made some massive mistakes too. For as much flack as Beane gets for his Day 2 RB love, you should see the Lynch/Shannahan bungling of Day 2 picks on RB. They’re not great early in the draft all together.
  11. Is it? Everyone here seems to have it figured out 😉 Very nice post.
  12. What’s your solution? Not sign players to make the team competitive? It’s cyclical, man.
  13. Thank you for wasting my time. Par for the course with you, man.
  14. Ay mi madre. Look back at my original post… did I say “He” in reference to Beane or “they” in reference to McBeane? I acknowledged that it wasn’t Beane who was running the 2017 draft. You’re welcome for the free pronouns lesson. I understand it’s your schtick to point out the same tired narratives, but I’m not the guy to do that with.
  15. I have a hard time believing that. I promise I realize exactly what I’m typing.
  16. He kind of runs like Josh... There were 3-4 fake slides on that run alone... cheater.
  17. Still waiting for someone to prove this is true? They have 2+ starters coming out of every draft and various role players lol They couldn't be where they are if they were drafting poorly - not finding superstars in the 2nd half of RD1 isn't poor drafting either. 2017 White/Dawkins/Milano 2018 Allen/Johnson + Edmunds, Phillips, Neal 2019 Oliver/Knox + Singletary 2020 Davis/Bass/Jackson + Epenesa 2021 Rousseau/Brown 2022 Cook/Bernard/Shakir/Benford + Spector 2023 Kincaid/Torrence
  18. Yeah, it’s because most McBeane bashers say stupid ***** that isn’t a realistic or honest an assessment. The defenders do it too. Nobody wants to paint the full picture, they just want to paint their picture. Exhibit A: Referencing the draft pick spent on a Matt Araiza as a blunder. As if McBeane missed wildly and there weren’t outside legal implications that nobody inside of One Bills Drive could control. They had zero ability to hold him on the roster as it would have been a massive distraction until things were sorted out and he wasn’t eligible for the Commissioner’s Exempt List. Here we are over a year later, things cleared up, and Kansas City took a chance. THEY’RE PLAYING CHESS!
  19. Nice… now we have 2 out of the last 3 OC from William and Mary. Go Tribe.
  20. Ben Johnson is getting reviews of being a recluse that believes he’s worth $15M per year. Harbaugh got $16M. That should be perfect to lead an organization.
  21. I wish I knew what Diggs was doing. He wasn’t happy with Kirk Cousins in Minnesota. Okay, fine, I can see why that would be the case. Now he’s not happy with Josh Allen in Buffalo. What’s his end-game here? Did he not watch what the Cowboys did with Dak down the stretch? Eagles with Hurts? Ravens with Lamar? Unless he ends up with Mahomes in KC (highly unlikely), he’s not going to end up somewhere with equal or higher level quarterbacking. He’s not happy with McDermott? Sure. I know a lot of people here aren’t too. I once again ask… Mike McCarthy? Nick Sirianni? I mean come on, Diggs.
  22. You're moving the goalposts... color me surprised. Your original quote, in the context of the draft, was that "Beane has shown no aptitude for evaluating WR talent." Now you're shifting to his ability to assess the WR position and when he needs one, which factors in all facets of roster constructions.
