  1. Lmao, she was so critical of the organization the past two off-seasons.
  2. Wore my Josh Allen Chicken Wing Hawaiian shirt to the game… it’s now 10-0 on the season.
  3. Sick! Josh had what, 7 yards (after contact) to get up to speed? The whole argument is that he lost a step… pulled up a play from a similar(ish) distance from 5 years ago and the one from yesterday. If I can find his max speed from a longer run this year, we can compare it to his 52-yard TD run against Pittsburgh in January when he reached 19.33 MPH. Which is what he was doing in 2018 and 2019 from longer distances… there were a few 20 MPH in there.
  4. *****kkkkk you’re right @BringBackFergy He was only running 9.70 MPH yesterday and then juiced it up to 16.61. That tortoise. Back in 2019 he was running way faster from further away! He even had a clean field and sunny skies!
  5. Seems like he wants it to be this way - wants to honor the past while moving into the future.
  6. He ran over (I believe Taron Johnson) and then interfered with Damar Hamlin on the same play, which ended up being a Hamlin pick, which was nullified by a flag on Taron Johnson (I think) for illegal contact on Kittle. That was about it.
  7. Trubisky hasn’t been on the injury report. They typically do the PS players a solid late in the season and promote them if they haven’t already to get a game check.
  8. I am going to start calling you Simple Casey. Are football players essential personnel that should be exempt from a county wide travel ban? Do you think that if the Bills played the game as scheduled while a travel ban was in effect, fans would attempt to go on the road ways to attend the game? When they instituted a travel ban that was in effect during the game, that’s exactly what they did, said football would not and could not be played.
  9. This is the chronological order of events from January 2024. 1) Winter Storm warning goes into effect early in the week, but at the time the information is that the game should be able to occur as scheduled. 2) The week progresses and new/more accurate information is made available. 3) The New York State Governor declares a state of emergency and a travel ban that includes the timeframe in which the game is to be played. 4) The game is moved back 1 day to Monday when the storm has subsided and the travel ban is lifted. You believe 1 of 2 things: A) The Buffalo Bills asked the State of New York to institute a state of emergency and travel ban in 15 counties in order to avoid playing the Pittsburgh Steelers AND the Governor of New York GRANTED this request. OR B) The Governor of New York issued a state of emergency and travel ban for 15 counties in the greater Buffalo area that stretches through the time period in which the game is to be played, BUT she told the Buffalo Bills and NFL it was okay to send non-essential personnel out like football players, security, ticket staff, television crews and others in order to play a football game AND despite her making this concession to allow the game to be played as scheduled, the Bills declined this option.
  10. If the New York State government tells them that they’re not allowed to play, what do you suggest they do?
  11. If an unforeseen act of God occurs, they’re not gaming anything. The travel ban was in effect for them as well. If anything, it would have been a disadvantage to make Buffalo prepare last minute to travel to Cleveland. They earned a home playoff game, is it really fair to make them go play at a neutral site on short notice? You’re starting to argue two different things, and that isn’t going to sit well with me.
  12. They were never playing Najee Harris in the snow. Their options were either move to Cleveland or move the game to Monday in Buffalo. There was a TRAVEL BAN issued by the Governor of New York. Do you understand what a travel ban is? A travel ban means roads are closed and that only emergency, or essential personnel should be allowed to travel (example, first responders). You could be ticketed by local law enforcement agencies if you are out driving during a travel ban. I love the Buffalo Bills as much as anybody, but I’m not too sure I’d consider them emergency or essential personnel. That also goes for the thousands of fans that would make an attempt to drive from the 15 surrounding counties under a state of emergency had the game not been moved by the Governor.
  13. This kind of stuff happens every week, multiple times a week. Fire McDermott, they say! It’ll make us better, they say!
  14. Imagine believing that it was an elaborate ruse by the Bills to lobby to the point where the Governor of New York declared a state of emergency in 15 counties 2 days before the playoff game was scheduled. They even went as far as having her declare a multi-county travel ban per their request!
  15. Doesn’t seem to be the case. It made a lot of sense for all of the reasons that I laid out. It’s not permanent, but takes pressure off both parties.
  16. Although Jones will be positioned to back up Darnold, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Cameron Wolfe note this will first be a practice squad agreement. Drinking the Kool-Aid @BillsFanForever19
  17. Lol I’m not saying that’s what is going to happen or that I think it’s what is going to happen. All I’m trying to do is illustrate the possible pathways for Daniel Jones. You thought the money was a factor, I was explaining that it wasn’t a factor at all. It’s solely fit and where Jones feels most comfortable.
  18. The paycheck doesn’t matter… that’s the whole point here. The Giants owe him all the money that was guaranteed to him. This is just a simplified example, say the Giants owe Jones $10M this year and Buffalo pays Jones $1M to sign to the PS, well now the Giants owe Jones $9M and Buffalo owes him $1M. He doesn’t get another $1M tacked on to the $10M the Giants owe him. He clearly wants to go somewhere that’s the best fit for him, you acknowledged that by saying he turned a chance to start for the Raiders down. If he determines signing with a contender on their PS is the best thing for him, the paycheck literally factors in 0%.
  19. Practice Squad is always an option. Similar to what we did with Kenny Stills, Devonta Freeman, Shaq Lawson, John Brown and Cole Beasley from 2020 - 2022. Jones knows he isn't going to start for a playoff contender, and he needs to be ready to play, but PS seems beneficial for everyone involved. Protects the club from doing too much shuffling with a delicate position and protects the player from having to play meaningful snaps without being up to speed. It's not money out of his pocket, whatever he makes just offsets the cost of what the Giants need to pay down on the remainder of his salary. Daniel Jones gets some stability, and a contender gets some insurance from someone who might (now) be the best backup QB in the league. If it's a good match, Jones could opt to sign a 1-year deal with the hope of rebuilding his value... similar to our own Mitch Trubisky his first go around in Buffalo. It didn't work out for Mitch in the long run, but short term, he got a decent little deal from Pittsburgh.
  20. I don't think he's expecting to play? When they said involved, they meant in the building and on the sidelines with a playoff contender.
  21. Don't look now, but Brandon Aubrey's FG% is lower than Tyler Bass...
  22. Colts over Lions Patriots over Dolphins Titans over Texans Broncos over Raiders Chargers over Ravens All of this is with the idea of making things harder on the Bengals to get in. Ravens and Texans losing help cement Bills seeding as well.
  23. When I originally started doing this, it was an attempt to make the discussion around the draft a little less subjective - I'm glad you feel this accomplishes that to some degree. The star/solid starter debate is definitely an insecurity with this, it is something I'd love to try and account for whenever I get the time to adjust. Here is 2019 - 2022 as requested!
  24. It's weighted (albeit imperfectly) by round. It tries to capture the value you're extracting relative to your peers based on the type of talent that should be on the board and how the rest of the league valued that talent.
