  1. Evan McPherson (71.4%) CIN Justin Tucker (72.7%) BAL Younghoe Koo (73.1%) ATL Jake Elliott (73.7%) PHI Joshua Karty (80.0%) LAR 2 Division Leaders, 2 Division/Wild Card contenders and another Wild Card hopeful. Bass is also clicking at a better clip than Jake Moody, Josh Myers and Ka’imi Fairbarin.
  2. There are other playoff teams with a far worse kicking situation and a higher waiver priority.
  3. Josh Allen Hawaiian shirt. It’s now 9-0.
  4. Oh yeah, made the comment that if McDermott doesn't get to the AFCCG this year we're better off going with ANYONE else. I went back and looked at his post history from 2017... his ideal hire when we settled on McDermott was Todd Haley. The whole notion of thinking "just anyone" will have a better shot is ridiculous, because you know, it ignores the fact that we're more likely to end up with a dud than we are Shanahan or McVay... which by the way, McDermott occupies the same tier.
  5. Where's the guy that wanted Todd Haley instead?
  6. He's clearly conscious of protecting himself. He's not running with reckless abandon on every play like he used to... the run tonight and the TD that was called back against Miami show he still has that gear when he NEEDS to get into that gear. The difference is he's trying to avoiding doing it.
  7. Look at the way his family behaves, he’s just like them. If he wasn’t the best QB in football, people would have next to no respect for him. When Mahomes is done playing and becomes a NFL alum, the goodwill he has from being a great QB will start to disappear. Time will not be kind to Patrick Mahomes, people will absolutely despise him and his ego.
  8. I’m not ready to start freaking out yet. If he’s cleared, it’s a pain management thing. Dalton Kincaid was cleared to go back in the game on Sunday and pulled himself. He felt like he couldn’t protect himself with the way his body felt. Who is to say it’s not the same thing with Cooper? These guys are ELITE athletes that rely on their body for a living. I understand he’s cleared, but nobody knows him better than him. I’ve seen players cleared by trainers and told it’s just a pain management thing, but the player continues to report significant pain. This forces additional tests and imaging - shocker it was actually a significant injury that was misdiagnosed.
  9. A lot of posters here were pretty upset when the Dolphins signed Long to a deal for 2/$10M. They felt we should have pursued him…
  10. Fixed the title - wasn’t thinking about it too much when I was comparing the two. My bad.
  11. I think the San Francisco 49ers just created the framework for a Christian Benford extension today. Deommodore Lenoir received a 5-year deal worth $92 Million a little over half way through his 4th season. Lenoir was drafted in 2021 by the 49ers in the 5th Round (172) out of Oregon. In his first three full seasons (2021-2023) he played in 47 games (32 Starts) recording 17 PD, 4 INT, 1 Sack and 124 tackles. PFF gave Lenoir grades of 57.1, 55.9, and 72.5 across his first three full seasons. Lenoir finished his 3rd season at 24 years of age. Lenoir has had a strong 2024 (4th season) thus far, in 9 games he has 6 PD, 2 INT, 1 FF and 53 tackles. He currently has a 67.8 grade from PFF. Christian Benford is half way through his 3rd season in the NFL. Benford was drafted in 2022 by the Bills in the 6th Round (185) out of Villanova. Looking at his first three seasons up to this point (2022-2024) he has played in 33 games (28 Starts) recording 19 PD, 4 INT, 3 FF, and 92 tackles. PFF assigned grades of 55.7, 82.2 and 77.0 (TBD) to Benford. He’s playing his 3rd season at 24 years of age. Lenoir has played both the boundary and nickel positions in his career while Benford has exclusively played the boundary. At this point, Benford seems to have outplayed Lenoir statistically despite having 7 games remaining in his 3rd season. It’s a crude comparison, but a Lenoir is a player with a similar background to Benford and may give us an idea of what it will take to retain Benford ahead of his 4th and final year of his rookie contract.
  12. I’m not so sure. This is starting to become a question of legacy for Mahomes and Reid - they have 3 Super Bowl victories and you have to think they get 2-3 more before they’re done. They get a chance at going undefeated with the 17 game season, it gets them closer to Belichick and Brady.
  13. Feels pretty likely to me that Mack Hollins will be back for 2025 in a reserve role. This is the type of back end of the roster WR we’ve had a hard time finding in the past.
  14. Rules are rules 🤷🏻‍♂️
  15. Well considering that you admit they were both productive players previously, I would venture to guess they believed they would both be productive players here? Really though, it's just a guess.
  16. Or they're properly evaluating the fact that Ben Johnson has been extremely picky for 2 straight hiring cycles & the Saints are a complete dumpster fire? Honestly, the betting odds might be undervaluing that.
  17. Did you say anything about DL? It was a vague statement about Beane standing pat and the Lions not. We’re also not pursuing a DE, so it doesn’t even matter.
  18. You’re exactly right, I can’t believe he didn’t go out and get Amari Cooper when he could.
  19. Isn’t Houston a dome?
  20. Hahaha you very conveniently removed the rest of my response from the reply 😂😂😂 We both know the answer to that question, it’s been spouted off here hundreds of times. Nobody has done it. Don’t worry, it is all good though, I have a plan to get some fresh blood in here, I think you’re going to love it! It starts with hiring Todd Haley as the 21st Head Coach of the Buffalo Bills. His three season stint as a NFL Head Coach in Kansas City wasn’t great (19-26), but I’m confident that he’s learned a ton in his time with the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL in 2022 and the Memphis Showboats in the UFL in 2023. We also can’t forget the job he did developing QBs at Riverview High School from 2020-2022. He should be able to take that next step. In conjunction with hiring Haley, we’ll trade Josh Allen, because there’s a better Josh available that people are overlooking. That’s “right”, Josh Rosen. Be prepared though, we’re going to have to agree on compensation to pry him away from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. I can’t imagine that Wharton will let him go for cheap! The best part is, it will be their first season together as a HC/QB combination, which means the odds of them winning a Super Bowl increase dramatically. Don’t get made at me, I’m just giving you what you wanted.
  21. I'd also add that all of those other coaches on that list that were hired had the opportunity to put together a process to go about identifying and acquiring a franchise QB. One guy on that list managed to identify and select a "Parody of a QB Prospect" and develop him. Sean McDermott is undoubtedly grateful for Josh Allen, but he is also an integral part of why Josh Allen developed into a generational QB. Stop acting like Josh Allen walked through the doors at One Bills Drive as a gift to McDermott, because by your own admission he was a "project QB prospect" that you didn't even think McDermott could develop to this point. If it was up to you, you'd have hired Josh McDaniels or Todd Haley - although I'll be honest with ya, Todd Haley did a heck of a job developing those QBs at Riverview High School the past couple of years! In fairness, that was after Todd Haley got canned as the Offensive Coordinator for the Cleveland Browns in 2018, you know, where he was tasked with developing 2018 #1 Overall Pick Baker Mayfield.
