Season tickets selling fast?
BillnutinHouston replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with this 100%. The Bills take care of long time STHers with relocation offerings before taking care of the new customers. I've benefitted from relocating a few times, and it only makes sense that they reward long suffering customers first. -
So...are Edmunds and Oliver good?
BillnutinHouston replied to Reader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good post. Yesterday's loss had me thinking about this same question since between Edmunds, Oliver and Epenesa we have invested 3 very high picks. Edmunds isn't developing. Oliver isn't penetrating at a rate I'd expect. Epenesa, jury's still out - was surprised that he got the nod over Murphy yesterday. -

The Stampede so needs this dude! -
Watching that, it strikes me that games between equally talented rosters are to a high degree already decided in the game planning phase, before the teams ever step on the field. Get the strategy wrong and you have to rely on halftime adjustments to bail you out. Maybe equal to gameplanning is the QB making correct decisions. Whats left, maybe 30% is physical execution. We could debate the exact %s but the point is, the strategy decisions are what set you up for success or not. We're in pretty good hands with Daboll and Frazier at the chessboard.

I saw her last year walking by our tailgate in Lot 3 I think it was. Don't worry, they'll see it.

Patrick Mahomes has cleared concussion protocol
BillnutinHouston replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure looked to me like the tackler pulled the top of his head very quickly into the turf. Whether it actually hit or not, Mahomes' head whipped forward like a car accident. That in itself is plenty of force to cause a concussion. -
Patrick Mahomes has cleared concussion protocol
BillnutinHouston replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a serious question about clearing the protocol, if anyone knows the answer. I assume the neurologist is supposed to confirm the absence of symptoms before clearing a player. Are all of these checks "fakeable" by the player? In other words, can the player say "no" to all of the "are you having _____ symptom?" questions, and be cleared, or are there objective medical tests that confirm what the player is reporting? -

Steelers signing Dwayne Haskins

I suppose, but Tomlin isn't exactly known as a disciplinarian. -
Always hated Rivers' throwing motion, but he made it work for 17 seasons so maybe he knows better than I.

Kudos to John Wawrow!
BillnutinHouston replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sadly, this is the inevitable result of the public watching many reporters cross the line into unabashed advocacy. It's in plain view and most obvious in political journalism. -
Do you like the term “Bills Mafia”?
BillnutinHouston replied to Lionel Hutz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that the rest of the country equates the term "Bills Mafia" with a somewhat lovable and quirky football team fanbase. Images of broken tables, bowling ball shots, and increasingly, generous charitable contributions come to mind. There is no conception of guns or other violent mayhem. Like many, I didn't love the term at first but its growing on me and we may as well embrace it, its now our unique brand.
