  1. That is the A+ question. If he can make this group better he is a miracle worker and he is likely going to be "the" guy. If not, and the "the process" doesn't kill him, I'm inclined to give him a pass to judgement till next year.
  2. Makes the Giants decision to take a running back over a top QB seem even more idiotic. Just think what the Bills could have done with McCoy, Watkins, Woods, Goodwin, Hogan, Clay and Harvin if they had a really good QB and a sharp OC.
  3. Multiple reports have Bills trading penalty magnet Newhouse to Panthers. No idea of compensation
  4. Totally agree! Very impressed with Jets coordinators, OL, and DB's. Seem vastly improved in all areas. They've been blowing the Lions off the ball from the opening kickoff. I know it's the Lions but I also know how sharp the Jets look. If the Lions ARE weak, the Jets are doing what a good team should do. Blow them out.
  5. Couldn't listen to much of it due to other commitments but heard John Murphy complain about the officials and I thought I'm glad to miss this. It is hard to watch that game and say the officials had a whole lot to do with the outcome. It was like watching men against boys. I feel like the Bills have the kind of roster an expansion team might have. PS They have the name of this right with "Breakdown" in it. Both the team and their assignments and the fans after watching the game.
  6. Buffalo has the worst group of wideouts I've seen. None of them can get off press coverage and I see almost no speed or separation
  7. Worst I've seen and have been watching since 1960. I remember them losing 48-6 (or something close to that) vs Oakland at home in the 2nd week of the season in 1968 and getting the coach (Joel Collier) fired.
  8. If it is really wet and slippery, might be less of a Shady game and more of an Ivory game. Cutting and quick footwork on wet grass is tough. The more straight ahead approach might be needed.
  9. FYI, not playing the Rams. So many inaccuracies in the rest of it that it's not worth hacking away at it.
  10. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/09/buffalo_bills_claim_new_england_patriots_cb_ryan_lewis_p_corey_bojorquez_off_wai.html
  11. I don't know if you call this a "unit' or not but QB. Can we exploit openings in the middle of the field like big boy QBs do and keep the turnovers to a minimum? OL, LB,WR are in there too. Let's just say the optimism levels aren't high.
  12. Yes let's keep someone who shows nothing in 2 places to save money rather than more productive players. By all means, the blinding logic of perpetuating the mistakes of another team in drafting this guy in round 1 should be continued.
  13. I have seen nothing from him that makes me want to keep him. Those that attended training camp might have a different opinion. I don't see any separation and not as much of a burst as I thought. I think Reilly has looked much better and will operate in the middle of the field where there are openings to be had. No special team value to Coleman either from what I can tell. Worth the risk but I just don't see much there.
  14. Ugh. Rip my finger nails out one by one but don't subject America to more of these exhibitions. If they don't know after OTA's, mandatory mini camps and what seems like an eternity of training camp well shame on them. This isn't rocket science.
  15. Jalen Ramsey: a legend in his own mind. Typical way to attract media attention and become a celebrity. The national media salivates like hungry dogs over athletes that self promote.
  16. Have you seen any evidence of that speed? I know what his reported times are but with your own eyes have you seen it? I haven't. No separation, no little extra kick. Nothing. I think the Browns figured that out too.
  17. When are the cuts required to be in by? (Other than not soon enough).
  18. Silence is preferred. A total waste of time to have a press conference and hear tripe.
  19. You're right too. There are no positions between opening the playbook to the fans to critique and saying "they are wonderful young men working hard and going through the process". Very informative. I'm so glad he's keeping it simple and on your level for you.
  20. Daboll may be a great hire and great oc but he says less than nothing in these pressers. I didn't know it was possible to say less than McDermott but he does. Total coach speak all the time.
  21. This seems weird to me. Of all the potential problems on this team, punter didn't seem to be one to me. This late in camp you don't bring in a vet like Ryan if youre not seriously contemplating a change. I've been ok with Schmidt.
