  1. It was always the Pats fans for me more than the Pats themselves. Now Chiefs fans are getting on my nerves.
  2. Imagine Dan Marino in today's game. Even more of a statue than Jimbo but lightning fast arm and accuracy.
  3. I can't tell if you're intentionally downplaying what those changes were or if you genuinely don't know. I do. And it's not hard to see why Leslie "walked." Sometimes the circumstances make the decision for you. Like I said, calculated steps.
  4. This isn’t about you—it’s about Leslie and the systemic issues in the NFL. Minority coaches have historically been underrepresented, even though most players are black, and this has been a hot topic in the league recently. Firing Leslie Frazier, who led the #1 defense, would create a PR nightmare because it highlights the NFL's history of sidelining black coaches. It would be a bad look for the league, which is why it was reported that he 'walked away.' Sorry to hear you’ve been fired so many times, if you were the #1 person in the world at what you did, you too would have every reason to be upset.
  5. Sean wanted Leslie out. And took calculated steps to ensure that result. So maybe not fired, but certainly forced out. The only reason he wasn't fired is because you cannot fire a Black DC with the #1 ranked defense in 2022. PR nightmare. "Walking away" was a nice story though.
  6. It's crazy that the Bills had the #1 and #2 ranked D in 2021 and 2022, and when the Bills O only scored 10 measly points vs the Bengals in the playoffs, Leslie got fired and Dorsey kept his job. This isn't always ranked as high as Sean's other mind boggling blunders like :13, but it should be.
  7. Everyone roasted Leslie when his D was working with 4th and 5th safeties. Sean gets a pass? Thought he was the DB whisperer. Statistically, Sean's D was not as good as Leslie's. This version might even be worse.
  8. Because I asked ChatGPT to predict the score and it picked the Lions.
  9. And he's the only coach on that list that regularly blows 1-2 regular season games with bad coaching. See Rams and Texans.
  10. Yep, went from having the #1 D under Leslie to this hot garbage.
  11. I thought you were going to say you were a Rob Johnson guy over Doug Flutie.
  12. 2 out of 3 of our losses this year were the result of Sean’s bad decision making. If we won those games, we’d be control of the first seed and our own destiny. Yet, some people are just happy to make the playoffs every year. Last year, Sean’s D folded in key moments against the Eagles, Bucs, Broncos, Pats, Giants, Chiefs. And 2 of those losses were partially the result of a mistimed blitz. These may not seem as egregious as Sean’s boneheaded :13 blunder and his handing of the OC job to a rookie coach that wasted 1.5 years, but it’s still costing the team significantly. Anything short of getting to the Super Bowl this year with Josh Allen playing possibly his best ever football is a total fail on Sean’s part.
  13. So you're saying our D did worse under Sean than Leslie and Bobby. Got it.
  14. I jokingly promised my 9yo son I would get this tattoo and now he's holding me to it. If it weren't for Sean blowing it the last 3 years, I might already have that ink.
  15. Sorry to hear this, I enjoyed reading his posts.
  16. I have found little evidence that the word police is trying to cancel crazy, insane, certifiable, loony, nuts, cra-cra. Or at least it's not catching on anytime soon. In fact, it's so acceptable, advertisers are still willing to stigmatize the mentally ill for profit even in 2024. Pizza hut is literally running an ad right now that makes light of someone "being crazy" and seeing things, ie schizophrenia. A while back Volkswagen ran an ad called "jumper" where a man who was contemplating suicide decided not to jump because he found out the new VW was under 17k. I recommend anyone who thinks this is just political correctness/overthinking spend a day at a halfway house with people who suffer from severe mental illness. It's about as funny as kids with cancer. This ^
  17. I have a Korean friend who used to joke that racists are so dumb, they can't even get their racism right.
  18. I always found it interesting that we've all come to agreement that you cannot say Ret**d anymore, but somehow we still say Crazy, Insane, Certifiable, Cra-Cra, Loony etc when talking about things there are not, in fact, crazy. This totally acceptable language perpetuates the stigma against 20% of adults that suffer with mental illness. Especially the sickest of the sick, who are often a voiceless group that inherited these diseases no fault of their own. Advertisers are the worst offenders who often go for this low hanging fruit. Pizza Hut is currently running an ad where someone is seeing things that aren't there ... lol schizophrenia is so funny, isn't it? Nike had a famous campaign, "It's not crazy, it's sports." which of course we all loved. Could you imagine "it's not Ret**d*d, it's sports" lol.
  19. This must be what it felt like to be a Pats fan for 2 decades. The rest of the AFC East is terrible.
  20. You're probably right. But Sean makes 8 mil per year to make the right decisions for the franchise. He blundered :13. Then blundered the OC hire. That's 3 wasted years of Josh/Diggs prime.
  21. Crazy that Sean let a rookie OC take wheel with Josh/Diggs in their prime. Waste of 2 years.
  22. Andy has an 80% winning percentage with Mahomes. Sean at 65% and his bad decision making is often the reason the team loses. QBs are on the same level. Coaches are not.
  23. Reid would not be on his McNabb days alone. And McNabb is not a HOFer. I'm starting to think there's no such thing as HOF Coaches. Just coaches lucky enough to have a HOF QB.
  24. Very few HOF coaches didn't have a HOF QB. I'm not surprised Daboll is struggling with Danny Dimes, he's terrible. Bill Walsh (HOF Coach, inducted in 1993) Joe Montana (HOF QB, inducted in 2000) Steve Young (HOF QB, inducted in 2005) Don Shula (HOF Coach, inducted in 1997) Johnny Unitas (HOF QB, inducted in 1979) – coached him with the Baltimore Colts. Dan Marino (HOF QB, inducted in 2005) – coached him with the Miami Dolphins. Chuck Noll (HOF Coach, inducted in 1993) Terry Bradshaw (HOF QB, inducted in 1989) Tom Landry (HOF Coach, inducted in 1990) Roger Staubach (HOF QB, inducted in 1985) Vince Lombardi (HOF Coach, inducted in 1971) Bart Starr (HOF QB, inducted in 1977) Marv Levy (HOF Coach, inducted in 2001) Jim Kelly (HOF QB, inducted in 2002) George Halas (HOF Coach, inducted in 1963) Sid Luckman (HOF QB, inducted in 1965) Weeb Ewbank (HOF Coach, inducted in 1978) Johnny Unitas (HOF QB, inducted in 1979) – coached him with the Baltimore Colts. Joe Namath (HOF QB, inducted in 1985) – coached him with the New York Jets. Hank Stram (HOF Coach, inducted in 2003) Len Dawson (HOF QB, inducted in 1987) Bill Parcells (HOF Coach, inducted in 2013) Phil Simms (Not a HOF QB, but a Super Bowl-winning QB for Parcells) *Joe Gibbs (HOF Coach, inducted in 1996) None of his Super Bowl-winning QBs (Joe Theismann, Doug Williams, Mark Rypien) are in the Hall of Fame, which is noteworthy. Tony Dungy (HOF Coach, inducted in 2016) Peyton Manning (HOF QB, inducted in 2021) Bill Cowher (HOF Coach, inducted in 2020) Ben Roethlisberger (Future HOF QB) Mike Holmgren (Potential Future HOF Coach, not yet inducted) Brett Favre (HOF QB, inducted in 2016) Paul Brown (HOF Coach, inducted in 1967) Otto Graham (HOF QB, inducted in 1965) Bud Grant (HOF Coach, inducted in 1994) Fran Tarkenton (HOF QB, inducted in 1986) John Madden (HOF Coach, inducted in 2006) Ken Stabler (HOF QB, inducted in 2016) George Allen (HOF Coach, inducted in 2002) Sonny Jurgensen (HOF QB, inducted in 1983) Jimmy Johnson (HOF Coach, inducted in 2020) Troy Aikman (HOF QB, inducted in 2006) Dick Vermeil (HOF Coach, inducted in 2022) Kurt Warner (HOF QB, inducted in 2017) Bill Belichick (Future HOF Coach) Tom Brady (Future HOF QB)
  25. It's been a downward slide for a while. Losing Kay, Losing Nate. Switching to a West Coast studio. Half the time they're not all in the same location. So the chemistry and camaraderie is completely off. Plus it's an hour later so all the east coasters hoping to catch some show before school/work are out of luck.
