  1. Nah just remove the guy who blew it...and leave everyone else in place. I would have taken Daboll at HC with Leslie at DC in a heartbeat. Imagine how differently we would have been drafting. Would have been to at least 1 SB by now.
  2. When McDermott hired Beane, there were a lot of people on this board who felt Sean was calling the shots. That sentiment has softened over the years. But how else could you explain the state of this roster. It is being built along the vision of complementary football.
  3. You really think a GM in 2025 would prioritize rotational cogs in a soft defensive scheme over elite WR talent for his MVP QB if he was really in charge? Sean's poor decision making is all over these drafts.
  4. No, going 9–7 and needing a miracle to back into the playoffs is not changing the game. That was an awesome moment for our club and fans, and we'll always be grateful for it. Now, trading the Mahomes pick to Andy to kick off the next great dynasty... that’s changing the game. Blowing 13 seconds and our best chance at a Super Bowl... that’s changing the game. Not giving your unicorn, MVP-caliber QB the weapons he needs to finally get to the Super Bowl...that's changing the game.
  5. Every year he fails to make the Super Bowl with an MVP level QB, that likelihood gets smaller.
  6. If we lose to Carolina, Dolphins fans will post this about us.
  7. Or maybe the coaching sucks. He was the best nickel in the league 2 years ago when Leslie was here.
  8. They'll steal a game from the Eagles or Chiefs and lose 3 more to teams we all counted as wins before the season started. Defense is a mess.
  9. Yep, and that lead to 13 seconds. Total disaster. Fast forward to Sean calling the D for a whole year... it folded in key moments against the Eagles, Bucs, Broncos, Pats, Giants, Chiefs. And 2 of those losses were partially the result of a mistimed zero blitz.
  10. If you took this poll after 13 seconds, there would have been 20% in favor of firing him. And that 20% would have been right.
  11. Had Sean fired his rookie OC who only put up 10 points against the Bengals in the playoffs, instead of pushing out his #1-ranked DC (whose side was rocked after Hamlin incident and was starting multiple backups), the last couple seasons might have ended very differently.
  12. Or you get 30k fans at the stadium to chant "Fire McDermott!"
  13. A.J. Klein, anyone?
  14. Cam Newton hit the wall hard at 32 and literally could not play QB anymore. We may have a very small window left and Sean is wasting it. I really hope I eat these words in February.
  15. The DVOA numbers are a bit different. Yes, Leslie had our D ranked 1 and 2. Then dropped to 12 with Sean, 11 with Bobby. And this year to date it's really falling off...22. 16. Firing McDermott could send the Bills spiraling back down into the abyss? .... with the league's MVP at QB? The drought really broke some of you. There is ZERO chance Sean admits he's failed as the team's defensive mind and brings in someone new.
  17. Josh Allen is the MVP of the entire league and has been playing at that level for 4 years. A better question might be: What does Sean bring to the table that would make you think any half-decent coach couldn’t do at least as well? Is it his stellar D? Nope. In-game decision making? Nope. Commitment to getting a generational QB talent top weapons? Nope. This fanbase needs to get over its Sean loyalty for ending the draught. That was 8 years ago.
  18. Yes, I think we still could, but not because of him.
  19. GunnerBill’s original comment about Dorsey as the OC: My reply in which I quoted GunnerBill’s line above about Dorsey as the OC: @SoTier Your gotcha post, starring you as the only guy who didn’t get it. You misread the thread, misattributed my context, and then confidently accused me of being incompetent. lol
  20. 10 points vs Cinci in the playoffs. And still kept his job!
  21. Imagine being an immigration clerk at Ellis Island and having to guess the spelling of names you have never heard before in a language you don't understand. Until the 1200-1300s, most common citizens did not have last names. Surnames often changed in the 1200-1800's in Europe because often the priest was the only literate person in the town and however he spelled it was your spelling. My surname changed 7 times between 1571 and 1796.
  22. lol. Polish name, Wisniewski, somehow got lost in translation during immigration.
  23. Handing the DC job over to a rookie was almost as bad of an idea as handing the OC job over to a rookie in Ken Dorsey. Under Sean, the D folded in key moments against the Eagles, Bucs, Broncos, Pats, Giants, Chiefs. And 2 of those losses were partially the result of a mistimed blitz.
  24. Leslie was a pretty big name when we hired him. And he had the #1 and #2 ranked D in his final 2 years.
