  1. + Lost the next two playoff games in-part because Sean hired a rookie OC to take over the Allen/Diggs machine in their primes. 10 points vs Bengals.
  2. Turns out Diggs was right. Didn't see that coming. I'm sure he sent Josh an I told you so text.
  3. Yep, Sean made us a laughing stock again.
  4. Agree, that was the old standard. Once considered unbeatable. 3-0 in Super Bowls for Cowboys. 3-1 for Chiefs. On their way to 5th Super Bowl in 7 years and QB is still under 30.
  5. What’s the point of having a defensive-minded head coach if the D can’t get it done in the playoffs? Chiefs were averaging 24 points all season –– hadn’t scored over 30 all season –– until they met Sean's D in the playoffs. McDermott's Playoff Defenses: Bend but don't win.
  6. Let's wait until he's 0-6 vs. the Chiefs before his seat gets warm .
  7. 0-4 Bills. Sean’s made us a laughing stock again.
  8. So far, the board members who said Sean should have been fired after 13 seconds have been proven right. And will remain that way until he wins a Super Bowl. LOL. Just stop. Sean took over the defense and confused the kickoff call. It's all on him.
  9. Sean should have been fired after 13 seconds. And after watching Elam, Kincaid, and Coleman play last night, Beane needs to go, too.
  10. McDermott's Playoff Defenses: Bend but don't win.
  11. Sean trading the Mahomes pick to Andy will go down as the worst trade in NFL history if it isn’t already.
  12. This is completely false. The opposite, is true, actually. 5 positive options to keep Sean. 2 neutral versions to get rid of him. Nothing that actually reflects what half of this board is thinking. Get rid of him now before he wastes another year of Josh's prime.
  13. We're so conditioned to him making a terrible blunder that we praise him when he doesn't. Chiefs hadn’t scored over 30 all season until last night—averaging 24. Until they met Sean's D in the playoffs.
  14. 0-4 Bills. Sean’s made us a laughing stock again. With Josh Allen, any coach could win the East and 1-2 playoff games. We need to take the next step before Allen leaves his prime. Sean has proven over and over he ain’t it.
  15. This board (and Twitter) was absolutely roasting Sean for the team's play in the 3rd quarter. And rightfully so. Almost cost us the game. There will be no room for coaching blunders vs Chiefs.
  16. You’re 100% right, it’s not an in-game blunder—it’s a decision-making blunder, something that has plagued Sean throughout his tenure. Whether anyone else was on board is completely irrelevant — it was Sean’s decision to make, and he clearly made the wrong one given that he eventually fired Dorsey – albeit a half season too late. Scoring 10 points in a playoff game is absolutely a problem.
  17. With this statement, was Sean undervaluing Josh's value in the success of the team. Or overvaluing his own?
  18. How about hiring a rookie OC to run the offense during two critical seasons of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs’ prime? Remember scoring 10 points vs Bengals? Sean has literally cost this team a legit chance at the Super Bowl for three years running.
  19. Imagine trading away the Mahomes pick and ending up with Josh Rosen.
  20. I’m not denying that great coaching can elevate players. But the crux of my argument is about causation versus correlation. Sure, most Hall of Fame quarterbacks played for Hall of Fame coaches—because it’s nearly impossible for a coach to become Hall of Fame-worthy without a Hall of Fame-caliber QB. The win percentages are relevant because they show how much those “legendary” coaches relied on their QBs for success. Without their star quarterbacks, many of these coaches struggled to rise above mediocrity. The numbers don't lie.
  21. Does it? Bill Belichick’s Winning Percentage: With Tom Brady: 76% Without Tom Brady: 46% Chuck Noll’s Winning Percentage: With Terry Bradshaw: 68.9% Without Terry Bradshaw: 46.8% Tom Landry’s Winning Percentage: With Roger Staubach: 74% Without Roger Staubach: 55% Bill Walsh’s Winning Percentage: With Joe Montana: 69% Without Joe Montana: 34% Paul Brown’s Winning Percentage: With Otto Graham: 83% Without Otto Graham: 53% Marv Levy’s Winning Percentage: With Jim Kelly: 63% Without Jim Kelly: 40%
  22. This wouldn't even sniff the top 10 biggest Sean blunders. Maybe not even the top 25.
  23. Brian Daboll couldn't wait to leave because he hated Sean. Unfortunately for him, he didn't get the Chargers job with Herbert and got stuck with Danny Dimes. I don't feel the same tension with Sean and Brady but who knows. Considering there's only 32 NFL HC jobs in the world and no guarantee he'll be offered one again, a lot of coaches make the leap. Ben Johnson seems to be rare these days.
  24. Writing an article that’s a collection of uncomfortable truths may be considered a "hit piece," but it’s still a collection of truths. If you, the reader, can be objective, you’ll find it informative, as it exposes behind-the-scenes issues and leadership flaws. And who can forget the reference to 9/11 terrorists as good teammates? Yikes.
