    Had 3 cats back in the declaw cat era. One was rogue, wife would let it out, the other 2 never ventured out. Never knew a clawless cat could kill so well. Little headless bunnies stashed around the house was routine. He was my favorite.

    My employment required getting CPR and AED certification. That I never needed to test my training was truly a blessing.

    Played little loop football between the ages of 8-13, then freshman and JV in high school. Me not affected, had many head boo-boos, smelling salt revived then back into the game.

    All I know is that the Giants are a good NFL story this year, given their recent struggles, and for a 1st time HC to lead them back to respectability and the playoffs.

    Know about peeing and being in NYC crowds for public events. Packed in on East River edge for July 4th fireworks few yrs. back. There is no way out until it ends and the throngs behind me had left.

    Deaths because of a blizzard is tragic. Pele likely lived king like for 3/4 of his 82 years. This isn’t tragic, just the sad passing of a fabled athlete.

    The days of plentiful quality QB’s regularly in most lineups is long gone. Lucky to have half the teams able to put someone decent under center.

    Shutting down the thruways in and around the Buffalo area was crucial in preventing hundreds (thousands?) more trapped motorists.

    Poloncarz apparently is disjointed over the preparedness and devastation in the city. Mother Nature laid a blizzard beat down on Buffalo beyond any in probably a century. It’s fair to say it could have been much worse had many roadways not been off limits.
