I think around 3m+/- .5m?

Didn't Gilmore have a large signing bonus? Think that may be a factor in what he shows as being paid last year. Spotrac has him at $14.1m aav (2@28) if I am reading it correctly?

LOL. Don't have a dog in this fight, but thought it was funny to use that to support an argument for a top 10 pick.😁

So, second round?🤔

An Idea for a potential Bills draft trade down with Atlanta!
LyndonvilleBill replied to JaCrispy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would add a LB, TE and another OL to your list. Maybe a 2nd CB/DB if we don't add a FA corner. -
Sorry, but I didn't think about mentioning Alstott. Would be nice to have a 1,2 punch like Dunn and Alstott but doubt we'll be able to find our Dunn. PS. Don't feel old.😉

I like Strange too. But back to football.😉 I hear more people talk about being older and less finished, but I think this year we may need to change our thinking a little. There are a lot of draft prospects from what I can tell took the opportunity of the extra year of eligibility, plus with Covid shortened seasons It may have impacted growth a little. Could a NFL coaching staff speed up that growth? Say in 1 year instead of 2? A lot of people talk about how young Edmunds is/was, maybe it's not a bad thing for a guy to be a little older. To add to that, players seem to be playing a little longer than they have in the past, so you could still have him for 10+ years.. Just some of my thoughts.🤔

Even when Tre returns, we still need a CB. The way I am looking at it, Tre will not be 100% himself this year regardless of when he starts. For this year I am looking at it as Tre being #2 seeing he will not be 100%. So draft a #1 this year, use Tre as #2 and Jackson as #3. When/if Tre returns to 100% what's the problem with having 2 top corners? Especially when you look at the WR's we are going to face. Not saying we have to trade up or even take a CB at 25, but we better get someone that can play as a 1B CB until Tre is 100%.

I'm with ya. Although I keep going back and forth with Watson and Pierce as well as Moore and Austin. Decisions, Decisions, sometimes it makes my brain hurt...😂

Wonder if they would put Safford on the right side next to Brown... More experienced G next to a 2nd year T. Dawkins next to less experienced Bates. Bates next to Brown doesn't thrill me. Our 2 least experienced O lineman next to eachother on one side...Don't like that. Especially with Allen doing his thing best going to the right. Bates played well on the left. Why move him? Pro Bowler next to Bates (Dawkins) pro bowler next to Brown (Safford). Would seem to be better balance in my opinion. 🤔

Daniel Bellinger TE San Diego state. Good measurables (6'5" 253lbs), good blocker, soft hands, RAS score of 9.49. Late round pick. Also Zander Horvath RB (FB) Purdue. Like him to replace Moss and Gilliam. 1 player, 2 spots filled.

Posted this in the Mock Drafts thread but haven't received any responses. May be better to post in a thread more people are interested in. There is a lot of discussions regarding reaching, value and 5th year options. So my question is, At what point is considered a reach? Poor Value? Versus having the 5th year option? For instance (just using a player, not saying right or wrong). You can use any top 5-10 pick of the 2nd round you like. Kyler Gordon. Most project as a top of the 2nd rnd pick. Would it really be a bad choice/reach to take him at 25 and get the 5th year option if you are unable to find a trade back partner?
-
Camarda (UGA). Agree, would be a very good choice. Not quite the leg of Araiza, but I think I saw 50% of his punts were inside the 20, averaged over 46 yards and has kicked punts of over 60. Not sure you need anything more than that for how often we punted last year.😁
-
I wouldn't take them at 25. I'm thinking more of a small trade down in the 1st to pick up a late 3rd and then use 57 and the extra 3rd to move up in the 2nd.
-
Exactly. One of the reasons why I prefer Watson or Pierce over the others.

I like Watson and Pierce. Big, fast and Great RAS scores. Right up our alley.

New OT rule is approved for postseason
LyndonvilleBill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just take it out of all their hands and go with special teams and soccer style. FG's starting at the 30, move back 5 yards after each successful kick. Punters are football players too. ROTFL!!!😱🤣🤣🤣
