  1. Njoku still drops passes. Much better than he used to be. He also used to be a terrible blocker, but he is actually a very good blocker now. He really improved over the last year or 2.
  2. Multiple reports are that his contract made him the successor, and that to avoid Rooney Rule, it means that the succession was put into writing at least before this season started. Basically means this was the plan all along.
  3. They didn't get it once, on 3rd down. I believe they ran it again and got it on 4th though.
  4. That's it! Jim wins the National Championship at Michigan and goes to the Ravens. John wins the Super Bowl and goes on to coach at Michigan!
  5. Better than him getting hurt in a meaningless game.
  6. On a certain day, they could be. It would be like the Jets making the playoffs after the Bills win the division. Alabama won the SEC in a head to head with Georgia.
  7. But how can you say that when Bama won head to head.
  8. That was my exact thought. At least let Milroe get outside and then have the option to throw or run.
  9. Counterattacking is not escalating. And who cares about government facilities? Russia is targeting apartments, hospitals, neighborhoods. They are intentionally murdering hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians. Raping women and children. Killing POWs. But Ukraine shouldn't fight back. Shouldn't counterattack? Most Russians don't want to continue the war. There is 1 man who does, and unfortunately, he is the one calling all the shots. They are essentially murdering their own citizens as well (conscripts sent to the front with no weapons and little to no training), and then not even paying the standard for a service death.
  10. If someone punches you, do you just stand there and take it? Do you simply give in, and continue to get hit until you give you attacker whatever they are after? Or do you hit back? To blame Ukraine for "escalation" as Russia bombs most of their country and tries take large chunks of it, all while committing countless war crimes, is insanely stupid. Russia, for decades, has been able to bully the entire region and get away with it. The rest of the world finally got tired of the bully and is trying to help out. Doesn't make Russia the victim all of a sudden.
  11. And weren't on our 5th and 6th O tackles for the year. Cleveland has something close to 40% of their cap on IR.
  12. How is supporting Ukraine promoting carnage? I have no idea about the Ukrainian elections. I'd hope they are legit, but obviously anything is possible. Ignoring that portion, Russia invaded Ukraine, so they are promoting the carnage. Russia has reportedly lost upwards of 350,000 soldiers. They are simply feeding them into the grinder and hoping for results. And for what? I will acknowledge there is greater politics at work here, but that's very much on both sides. Ukraine is supposed to just be conquered, or give up large chunks of their land? Or just lay down and be slaughtered? Russia is committing war crimes non stop. Murdering civilians, executing POWs, raping women and children. But yeah, Ukraine is at fault.
  13. The NY player stayed on Hurts after the tackle, and then picked up the ball as Philly was trying to get set. It was very obviously not a fumble. It was an easy call. I have no horse in the race and was calling for it even before they threw the flag.
  14. Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec Jim from the Office Uhtred from the Last Kingdom Alfie Solomons from Peaky Blinders
  15. The Titans are the Oilers though. Same franchise. Texans are a new, separate franchise.
  16. They can't. The Titans are the Oilers. The deal when the Ravens moved is that they AREN'T the Browns. Cleveland kept all the rights.
  17. It was an official review. It was under 2 minutes.
  18. They beat Cincinnati by 21, and beat Georgia by 17 in the SEC Championship. So it's not that big of a difference. Alabama also barely beat bad Florida, LSU, and Auburn teams that year, and lost to and average Texas A&M. Like others have said, why play the games if none of it matters? The SEC was 7-9 vs other Power 5 conferences this year. OSU won the Championship, and beat Alabama, with a 3rd string QB.
  19. As a counter point though, compare Allen's first 3 years as a starter to Hurts first 3 years as a starter. Allen was much better as he went along, so your aren't fully comparing apples to apples, especially with Hurts. Also, only going by lost fumbles skews it a bit as well. I have no idea how many fumbles in general, but lucking into your own team recovering doesn't mean that the player didn't fumble.
  20. What kind of evidence do you have for that?
  21. McCord is a junior. 1st year starter, but he is the same recruiting class as McCarthy.
  22. What does that matter? I have no idea why. He has been back several times since Harbaugh is been to speak to the team, so I don't think there is any animosity at this point. What are you trying to get at, and what does Brady have to do with the game today?
  23. OSU played basically the same schedule, plus ND. ND is better than the rest of Michigan's schedule for sure, but they're not a top tier team either. It should be a close game, especially as Michigan's offense hasn't looked great the past few weeks, and like usual, this game is a toss up. 24-20 UM.
