  1. Decent guys left to be had. If guys are smart they know the cap is going up and teams will be spending. So the smart move for a player is going to a team that can help you get that big deal next year. Bills have to look at Edge and DB both of our positions that play into this. The Bills D improves next year which should be easy to do and those guys get paid. Especially if a end can come in and get 10 sacks. So Sherman and Ingram would be huge and good candidates for this. Sherman may just want to win. Ingram may play one year cheap in hope of bigger deal next year from someone. Edge: Dunlap, Clowney, Houston, Ingram DB: Sherman, Bouye, Dunbar, Heyward, Butler, Alexander RB: Bell, Connor, Gurley, Fournette
  2. Well they did just win a super bowl. Look I am a Bills fan. I have been for basically all of my 45 years. I was rooting for Brady to lose every week in TB. Heck they barely snuck in the playoffs. But they did what they did. I probably should just ignore these threads. But they do bait me to respond when I see how the Bills are the only team that is amazing and every other team has so many flaws. Every Bills move is great, move they dont make is justified, and every other team is clueless. I do think the Bills have definitely turned the ship around. But if they found a QB at any point prior to Allen I would bet the bank it would have been turned around at those times as well. There were tons of teams that had good success with no talent. I just dont agree with the "these guys have done the impossible" statement. They have done well. I am happy. Fans, experts and others talking about the Bills will say they have done a great job. But the impossible that is a huge embellishment.
  3. It fits the argument. Left money on the table because Beane cast a spell on him - the wizard. We have all seen the FA market is strange this. Some guys did get paid, but generally speaking the $ is down. L David was best MLB on the market and he got 2/$25M. J Brown got 1/$5M. Wright and Wilson have not even signed yet.
  4. They found a QB. Yes we are all happy but lets not take this too far. TB just won a Super Bowl after not making the playoffs for 15 years. What they did is more impressive thus far. The Bills have not been the worst team in the league. A team stuck in mediocrity without a QB is what they were. There were many years they had a good roster just no QB. And I will add - if not for Allen the decisions at QB have been suspect at best. Peterman, AJM, Derek Anderson...
  5. All depends who is on the board for both parties involved. If a player drops that another wants wants they will do it. If Billsvgage no one on the board they like they will look fit options.
  6. Glad he is not going to Balt or Kc. And fools would be going nuts if the bills signed him so stop with the nyg is dumb.
  7. Look at the Chiefs roster and salary structures.
  8. This is Lee Smith or Reggie Gilliam replacement not Knox. At least I hope. Played in TE friendly systems and not produced as a receiving threat. I almost see him more as a Patrick Dimarco or how they used Gilliam this year. Still need to get Ertz...
  9. 1 yr vet min deal worth a look. But not much more.
  10. How the blank do the Chiefs have only $160M spent? Hmmm... Mahomes - $7M ($450M contract/10yr) Jones - $8M ($80M/4yr) Kelce - $6M ($57M/4yr) Thuney - $4.5M ($80M/5yr) And I dont want to hear they are going into cap hell. Sportrac shows they will have $50M in space in 2022. How does that roster with a $450M QB and multi $50M+ other contracts seem to be in better shape than ours?
  11. TE - Ertz, Fells DB - Fuller, Sherman, Jackson, Butler Edge - Clowney, Ingram, Dunlap, Houston DL - Suh, Casey, Short, Rankins
  12. Good back up QB signing. Now hopefully we never actually see him play except for in a final week with starters resting.
  13. #158 for Ertz. Phi wants #145. Throw in a 2022 7th rounder.
  14. Does look like the scheduled trip from Clemson to Auburn was cancelled...plane went back to Buffalo instead. They could have taken another option obviously or maybe somebody needed to get back to Buffalo ASAP...
  15. DL (Jefferson 534, Murphy 343) and TE (Kroft 298, Smith 171) seems to be the most snaps lost. Though Winters had 616 mostly due to Feliciano injury. Also, Norman had 344 and Marlowe 230 so a lot at DB as well. So expect some action at TE, DL, DB.
  16. Lots of debate on Sanders. Here is how I see it. When it comes to your #2 or #3 the difference between the players is not as significant. You want a guy that is good enough to draw attention and get you 50 yards in a game if needed, catch a few key passes basically. So, Sanders is not much different than Brown, Green, Bourne, Jones, Hilton, Watkins, etc. You get the best one with the least amount of money. What you dont want is to let go of a Brown and think Duke Williams, Jake Kumerow, etc type guys being the replacement.
  17. Got to make sure they are "process" guys
  18. I have learned the purpose of the cap is protect teams from fans anger about not signing guys. If you want the player the cap is not as big an obstacle as you think. Heck the best method seems to pay massive contracts so you then have more options for restrux, then eventually when they retire they restyrux again at league minumum and tons of the cap that was pushed back goes away.
  19. Good point. There are actually 10 Pegula jets scouring the country as we speak. Then one in Chi for Mack, another in MIN for Hunter and the others are chasing down Travis Kelce, George Kittle, Aaron Donald, McCaffrey and another handful of guys.
  20. This is the real plane if anyone is interested in reality
  21. https://flightaware.com/live/flight/XSR960
  22. Wrong plane. Real plane is at Clemson or on way to Auburn.
