We are talking Elite level talent. Guys that would show up on a top 100 players list or top player at position list. That is not being negative. The Bills have a ton of good players and very good roster. The point was KC has been able to add more elite level players. Brown could be argued as the best Tackle in the league or at least be in that conversation, just like Thuney at G. This was not a complain about the Bills thread it was about KC being able to add a guy like Brown for not a ton of assets.

Bills have Allen. Diggs and White as elite level players Chiefs have Mahomes, Kelce, Hill, Jones, Clark, Mathieu and arguably both Thuney and Brown as Elite level players.

A good stat generally speaking. But I think its more of if your replacing a ton of guys you may be in trouble. Replacing the least number does not mean much to me if those positions needed upgrades. For example, most wanted to upgrade at TE - not replacing Knox should not be a positive.

Where have the Bills added vs last year? As of now we have a better back up qb and 3rd string rb. Most of the pick ups were replacing guys - sanders for brown, Efe for Murphy and Jefferson. Hollister for Kroft and Smith. Haack for Bojo. Powell possibly for a Robert’s. No we are not deemed. But we are relying on the same guys getting better vs adding pieces. Next year when we lose in the playoffs the narrative will be that this is part of the plan. We knew that we had no cap so could not improve yada yada excuse excuse. There were options and moves to be made. Beane made the decision to stand pat at or make minimal changes at certain spots. They are betting on an even more explosive offense and a bend but don’t break defense. I hope it works but expect a very similar team as last year. Which may be good enough.
