I am still hopeful and do expect Beane to be active in finding help on the DL. The fact he was in big time on the Watt chase shows this. I dont like the new narrative - Watt is not that good (ok but the Bills tried very hard to get him); We dont need him, lets just lock up Milano now (we did need him, now need someone similar and Milano does not solve that); There are plenty of other guys that fit better than Watt (Watt was close to the best option out there; Lets see what else we can get).

No - these are the new odds updated yesterday. Points Bet is online betting platform and partially owned by NBC. It is legit. Obviously betting odds aren’t always right. But usually do have a pulse on what is going on.

Bills not even listed in top 8 now... not that this means anything but this is where money is... Cleveland is the favorite, followed by Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay, according to Points Bet.

Not saying they were bad QB's. More that the QB's winning in the majority of those games did not win throwing for 400 yards and carrying the team on his back. Rather they managed the game well and had a strong running game to balance them out.

CLE can be good and the Bills can be good. The main argument I hear is Baker sucks, they dont have Allen. That can be a lot. But lets look at the most recent Super Bowl winners. Is it the best QB with a monster arm or better team? 2021: TB with Brady dinking/dunking and strong running game beats Mahomes 2020: Mahomes, but almost loss to Jimmy G dinking/dunking and strong running game 2019: Brady dinking/dunking and strong running game beats Goff 2018: Foles and running game beats Brady 2017: Brady vs Ryan. Brady wins. 2016: Manning with no arm left beats Newton 2015: Brady beats Wilson 2014: Wilson beats Manning 2013: Flacco beats Kaep I will stop there. I would say CLE could be that. With a good D and running game. Baker not making mistakes and making easy throws. They could fit the bill. Still, I would rather be the Bills right now with Allen, but to say CLE + Watt sucks is naive IMO.

Watt to CLE would not be good for Buffalo. They have a solid squad already and bring back basically everyone. They could sign Watt and still have more space available. They could also look to move OBJ and pick up even more space. Plus they have like 6 picks in the first 4 rounds of the draft. Gap was not very big between us and them and this would allow them to close it and then some.

Watt, Hughes, AJ,Johnson, Rookies vs Hughes, Addison, Jefferson, AJ, Johnson easy choice. If you can swap watt for Addison and Jefferson.

Agreed. I think the point is a few years ago he could play 90% of the snaps and completely dominate. He is still a great player and would be a huge addition. Just not a DPOY contender he used to be.

DB coach Butler. Not our GM that passed away like 20 years ago...

The good: Played in all 16 games season. Played 91% of the snaps. 14 TFL. 7 Passes Defended. 12 QB Knock Downs. The Bad: In 16 games - 5 sacks vs 16 in 2018. 2 Forced Fumbles vs 7 in 2018. 11 QB Hurries and 29 Pressures vs. 32 Hurries and 60 pressures in 2018. From this I see that he has possibly lost a step. Still an impact player but not the same burst that is needed for a 15 sack type of guy. He would still come in and be our best edge rusher however.

I would think his list only includes team that have a chance to win it all. KC, TB, BUF, GB, BAL, LAR are the most popular choices. BAL and TB have space already. BUF would need to create it it. KC, LAR and GB are all $20M + over the cap.

Haha. Brady sends apology text. Remind me who the penalty was called on again? NFL is ridiculous in how certain players are treated. How many times have we seen Allen destroyed with no flags. You say a word to Brady - even in a case he is now apologizing for his actions and you get flagged. Cant touch or talk to Tom.

I dont know. The Bills vs Chiefs and last nights game were night and day. The Bucs utterly destroyed them. We had to fight tooth and nail for every inch on offense. Ands on defense we looked lost. Their guys were open by 5+ yards consistently against us. While nearly every catch was contested last night. So the Bucs not only had a much better pass rush but also much better coverage, even on short passes like the quick outs and slants.
