Bottom line - team was not ready. Not like Pitt was either, but they stuck around, made less mistakes and took advantage when needed to pull out the win. I still think we would beat that Pitt team 8 out of 10 times. Hopefully just a bump in the round and not an indication of the season ahead. But if I am a DC playing the Bills I am watching this game and the KC playoff game.

I agree to much of this. When you win its easy to just say we won, who cares. But there are so many times Daboll has done things that I just dont get. You can ask is Allen better because of Daboll? Is Daboll lucky Allen is so good that it makes him look good? Combo of both? Personally I am still not sold on Daboll and give more of the success to Allen. I think a ton of OC's could score points with Allen and the Bills offense.

But they worked so well at recess...

The mindset of this team is to have the ball in Josh hands as much as possible. That said I do think in our losses Daboll appears to be unable to balance out the game. This was a good example of a time maybe you run the ball a bit to take the pressure of Allen who seemed of his game. Maybe that allows him to settle down a bit. I also want less of those designed Allen runs that put him spots to get destroyed. Some of them are juts so painfully obvious you know he is going to take a lick. And I hate hate hate the one option only plays. Allows at least have an outlet. That flea flicker could have still worked if there was another option, but is was all or anything.

Maybe a TE would help…

Combo of Allen not at his best and Daboll in his try to be cute mindset. We could have just beat them with fundamental football early, but was out of sorts.

I do not. I think if cut he may get picked up for some teams PS. I just don't see the arm strength or athletic ability to play in the NFL.

No way they only keep Knox and Gilliam at TE. Dont see Jake Kumerow, Marquez Stevenson, Isaiah Hodgins all making the roster. One or tow of them max. LB Dodson is making the team Side note - He doesnt even have Fromm on practice squad. Some out there think he has trade value...

Some guys released to give more of a chance to sign elsewhere. Some kept because we need bodies for next week.

I would think most coaches/GM's would put any of those guys on the field before Fromm. All Fromm has over them is there is less tape on him. But you watch the tape he does have in pre-season and its not great.

The Duke is done. Likely headed to the CFL - that exists still right?

They could sign Rosen, Bortles, RG3, and more before trading for Fromm.

Maybe they give us a 2047 6th rounder...

I think fans tend to overvalue fringe guys. Though I do think Kumerow and McK would get picked up quickly if cut. I would keep McK and if we can get anything in return for Kumerow would do it in a heartbeat. But would still be #4 or #5 type WR's on another team. Guys like Duke, Gentry, Powell are JAG's.

Preseason. Evaluate the rookies and random guys. Don’t place too much judgement on anybody else.

Bills - A win is a win; Close loss should have been a win. Other Teams - A loss is a loss; Close win should have been a loss.

Dont get the 49ers love. I know they were destroyed by injuries last year so that is the basis for it all. But at the same time the NFC does kind of suck outside of TB. GB is always a threat but with the Rodgers drama who knows. Seattle is getting old. LAR have Stafford but who is he throwing to? So maybe it is between SF and TB.

What is unpopular is not sticking with your team. You can have whatever opinions you want, but if the team philosophy is to focus on football and leave that stuff to yourself then you should do that. You are putting yourself first if you cannot do that.

If McD has asked Cole to stop. This is going to get ugly. We know they have talked about it...
