    Huh? A slant is a drop and release the ball. That’s why you run a te post / corner with the slot slant underneath. Watch the wr routes we generally run. They are very intricate and long developing - run an out that curves into into a post back into an out.

    The offense has never looked right this season. Even in games they were scoring a ton of points.

    Routes - develop. That is part of the problem. Our scheme is either dump off or long developing routes.

    Middle of the field was open a day with quick slants. Daboll has never liked it. But I run quick slants and outs. Keep the d honest.

    If we can’t go the play action or rpo then scrap it. Go back to shotgun with a deep drop or roll out.

    I blame the play calls. Predictable passes behind the line of scrimmage. It’s like we are game planning to hide a qb that either can’t read a defense or has a weak arm. Or we think that is the only way to beat the blitz.

    Sanders was wide open and Allen was rolling to that side. He chose the tougher pass to diggs. Was not his day.

    He did. There was a lot of scramble plays etc. and a few with lots of time in the pocket. But in general yes it was awful and our OC does not know what to do.
