  1. From Buffalorumblings. Some interesting takes on the cuts. I always find it interesting when free agent signing are cut especially when they were hyped to be big contributors. Also the expectations around late draft picks, though this FO does favor its own guys. Some tough choices, though I still think our DB and LB are weak, plus not much at DT1 so would not be surprised to see some vet signings. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2021/5/3/22417105/buffalo-bills-53-man-roster-projection-depth-chart-following-2021-nfl-draft Cuts: QB: Davis Webb RB: Christian Wade, Antonio Williams WR: Isaiah Hodgins, Tanner Gentry, Jake Kumerow, Brandon Powell, Duke Williams TE: Nate Becker OL: Bobby Hart, Forrest Lamp, Jordan Devey, Jamil Douglas, Jack Anderson (essentially all of our OL free agents) DL: Bryan Cox Jr., Darryl Johnson, Mike Love, Efe Obada, Brandin Bryant, Harrison Phillips, Justin Zimmer (Obada had a brief stint as our best edge guy) LB: Marquel Lee, Andre Smith DB: Cam Lewis, Josh Thomas
  2. The game was very close. Yes, 19-3 looked like this was going to be a blowout. Even without the Fumble the 19-10 still would have looked like Chiefs were dominating. 2nd half was a different story even before Mahomes was hurt. Browns drive down 70 yards and score a TD to make it 19-10. Then hold KC to FG, 4th straight drive with a FG or nothing. Mahomes now gets hurt and its 22-10. CLE drives 70 yards again and scores so its 22-17 (Mahomes does not play D). CLE then gets the INT and it is looking like could win the game. KC is able to hold on with Henne and some luck on their side. But CLE had all the momentum for a big part of this game and almost stole it.
  3. The bolded says it. The Bills typically need Allen to ball to win. If Allen is balling and Baker is balling my money is on the Bills. If Allen is not, then the Browns beat us with a running game.
  4. If only the NFL always followed in the order of who has the best QB. Until Josh Allen is better than Mahomes we never have a chance. Rodgers and GB must have been in every super bowl the past 5-10 years. it is hard to argue against teams around us improved more than we did. CLE most definitely did and a wild card is if OBJ can contribute as well. MIA always added a lot of pieces though is not scary and more limited with Tua.
  5. Thing is we can’t keep all these OL. Some will have to go. We have 17 OL on the roster now and that does not include UDFA we bring in. We will keep 9-10. Some low level guys can be PS - UDFA and Anderson, maybe Doyle would not get picked up? Locks: Dawkins, Williams, Morse, Feliciano Near Locks: Ford, Brown Final 3-4: Bates, Lamp, Douglas, Hart, Boettger, Devey, Doyle, Anderson, Harrison, Walton Lamp, Douglas, Hart, Bates, Harrison and Boettger have all started in this league. So its not as simple as we added all these OL, some have to go so what is that difference? Maybe short term your worse actually. Who knows. But it’s not 1+1= 3.
  6. Who is starting if Williams goes down?
  7. Good, but not as good even better if we had a starting edge, CB2, TE and future FS/SS and some OL depth.
  8. Its just a defensive statement. We make a move to get Diggs and its great move, we are in it to win it. We dont make the big move and it's you need to focus on the long term and follow the process. I can guarantee you the people that are saying they love this draft and it makes perfect sense, would be saying the same thing head we traded tons of picks and went the opposite route, but said we are in win now mode and needed impact players, the 3-7 round picks the next few years will never make the roster anyway, etc. etc.
  9. All west coast...is that our only scout working right now.
  10. Man - Jets got Reshad Jr, Raiders got Stills, Wash got Patterson, Pit got Brown, Cle got M Wilson, NO got T Williams, Sea got Terry. My wish list is shrinking... Thompson is a good player My top 2 targets are Yeboah and Moses at this point.
  11. Agree - reminds of the 2016 draft. Lawson, Ragland, Washington and more...
  12. D Moses - LB M Wilson - DT D Daniel - CB T Williams - DB Rashed Jr - LB Ealy - OT Newman - QB P Fisher - LB P Ford - DB Patterson - RB Yeboah - TE A Jackson - OG R Boyd - RB Eubanks - TE Burland - LB D Stills - DT T Terry - WR
  13. Strachan 6’5” and runs a 4.46
  14. Then you sign a free agent OT not a project rookie OT.
  15. I am referring to peoples takes here. The bills can most definitely pay josh and have other nice things. Fans just try to justify opinions.
  16. Again, only the bills cannot afford more than a qb.
  17. We are drafting like we already won the super bowl. We approached free agency the same way. Where is this team better Han last year? Back up qb...
  18. I don’t like this draft. Rousseau pick is a decent pick. Basham is a not awful pick. But don’t like going with two OT.
  19. Entering the draft what positions could a draft pick be a start? RB TE CB2 Edge You could argue we may have drafted a starting edge guy. I think both guys are a year or two away. In all three rounds so far I fell like a RB, TE, CB was available that could compete for a starting job. That leads me to believe the team feels set on those positions or has a trade/free agent in the works, and preferred to use picks for 2-3 years down the road.
  20. There are always going to be needs. Only the bills can’t afford a qb and other players? Kc gave Mahomes the most massive contract and still adds players not future players. Tired of the constant - when josh gets his contract.
  21. Will they play in 2021?
