  1. I am all for the don't judge a guy based on two games. But to say he has been in extremely difficult situations and that is the problem? He is missing plenty of open WR, overthrowing balls, underthrowing balls, etc. I dont think he has made that many what are you doing throws which is a good thing. Makes me think something is slightly off with his mechanics. This has always gotten JA in trouble at times and he needs to settle down and focus on the fundamentals.
  2. Josh is playing bad through two games. That is all we know. He could play bad for the next 6 and then turn it around the rest of the year. He could turn it around next week and be money from here on out. He could play well one week and bad the next. The reality is none of us know. He is a young QB and there are no guarantees despite a great year last year. If your the Bills you still had to pay him based on what they saw though could argue why not wait until this year. End of the day he played well enough to bet the farm on him. If he flops it really sucks, but this was not a situation with many questioning if Allen was the guy.
  3. It is funny. Your super bowl point is just how I feel. We are supposed to be a great team with super bowl hopes. But we are also supposed to be just happy with a win. Great teams do not think that way. I guarantee that McD and crew are not satisfied. Did anyone see Josh smiling after the game? Josh knows he needs to play better. He will be watching the film and looking for what he needs to correct.
  4. Looked like easy money 5 mins into the game
  5. Exactly. It feels good being a bit pissed after a 35-0 win. Called big expectations.
  6. I would not be shocked at anything. Bills win this 14-0. Bills lose 28-14. Or Bills win 42-0.
  7. Rather be the team up 14 in a bad game
  8. This should be either 42-0 bills or we should be losing like 21-14. Both teams blowing a ton of chances.
  9. Should be a 35-0 type game. Our O has not looked good in a long time…
  10. Wait. Just researched that no team that won the first game of the season in a 17 week season has gone on to the Super Bowl. We still have a chance...
  11. Dang so Bills, Falcons, Lions, Titans, Colts, WFT, Pats, and Giants all out of the race.
  12. The whole change in culture thing is a bit fluff to me. I know that it is important, but I mean that when people outside of the organization talk about it. The only ones that really know are the people inside the building. And of course we are always going to hear how it is great and all the change. You only hear the negative side when the person leaves and then the tune changes from change in culture to toxic environment. From a fan side of things I do think there is a change. Just about every fan would say they expect the Bills to be in the playoffs. Not too long ago you people were dreaming of just making it. That is a change. I think the nervousness that fans have is set in the reality that this team does not look invincible and does have some issues. As others have said, our losses can look very similar. They highlight weaknesses this team still has which can be concerning. Even the biggest cheerleader fans would admit some of this. We have not established ourselves as that team yet that is beating teams while sleepwalking. Not to mention, Josh has really only had one good year, so there is that fear that what if he regresses. Again most dont think that, but it is still a legit concern because this team wins with him not the supporting cast. Give it some time. One great year and some decent ones puts us in the group of 10 or so good teams. Cant expect us to instantly feel like the top dog in the league yet.
  13. I dont agree with article. But he is pointing out it is not just a one game thing. It goes back to to the BAL and KC playoff games as well.
  14. I agree and felt like we were watching a pre-season Bills offense. The penalties and lack of rhythm.
  15. This may be true until 14-3 would have gotten us home field and instead we are 13-4 and heading into KC in the playoffs.
  16. On a related note. We went in the offseason with many pundits saying our biggest needs were RB and TE, along with pass rush. We ignored TE and RB essentially as I dont count Hollister and Breida as addressing it. But the Bills basically said we know better and are willing to let it ride with these guys.
  17. At least force teams to put more focus on them then currently.
  18. The earlier play was for one executed much better from the run fake to OL sell out. Not to mention look at the numbers - original play had one guy on the outside vs multiple defenders yesterday partially due to a wr going in motion bringing the QB over. It was plain ugly.
