  1. When does this ever happen to good teams? It seems like only the bad teams deal with this. Good teams find ways to restrux and work the cap to keep the guys they want.
  2. Makes no sense form Bills. End of story.
  3. Exactly. And you just reminded me how much we loved that trade. Yet other teams do it and there is a lot of that is not how the Bills do it, that is stupid to give up picks, etc. I think more than ever you should be willing to give up picks especially when your roster is quite full. More often than ever guys are changing teams when or even before the rookie deals are up. So you use your pick on a guy who may contribute after a year or two and then is gone. Or use a pick on a proven guy and get two high level years. Obviously you need a core that is in it for the long haul, which the bills have - Allen, Dawkins, Milano, White, etc.
  4. Rams paying less than a mil for him. I will take that.
  5. And if those picks yielded those type of players would that not be an incredible draft?
  6. Agreed and we always hear - we dont have the cap space but then watch teams with less do it. I like the job McBeane is doing, but I do think they need to do something like this to get this team over the hump. Waiting for that headline - Bills trade for Norwell, Bills trade for Fuller, Bills trade for Engram, Bills trade for ....
  7. Not Allen’s best today. Got the victory with good play late but was not at his best.
  8. It was as bad as looked. The players even said so. It’s ok, that happens. But I do think there are some troubles with OL that need to be fixed or we could struggle come playoffs time. Norwell would be such a nice boost.
  9. A little. But imo the whole plan sucked.
  10. Maybe your on to something. Let’s come up with a crap game plan and see if we can still when. Check. Next week we let the offense play but the d has run prevent all game and still hold them to field goals only. I am not sure what Daboll saw that made him think we need to throw the majority of passes behind it at the line of scrimmage. It was until we started going downfield that the o did anything. Felt like we had to protect a qb that can’t throw vs the worlds best secondary.
  11. No one offense should get jack. Allen included. That was not his best showing. Made some plays at the end but that was hard to watch.
  12. Defense played solid enough. Offense, offensive. Game plan was atrocious. Execution was poor. Decisions were bad. Clock management sucked and luckily didn’t need any time outs. Allen seems lost like early in his career. Even threw a bunch of dumb balls and lots of wobblers off bad feet. if we need to fix OL then do it ASAP. Hopefully that helps Allen.
  13. We look like the last year bills d
  14. Don’t need an upgrade for Wallace? Gave up the reception, missed an int
  15. Let's just grab Engram or Hurst before GB does. If we can also get Norwell or Fuller then I consider either. No need to give up more than late round picks or guys like Addison, Butler, etc.

  17. Big Ditch and Pressure Drop for beer. Resurgance is decent as well.
  18. No brainer trades if available on the cheap - Fuller, Cooks, Norwell, Engram, Sanders
  19. If we traded Addison we still not dress AJE or Basham. I really dont see a huge drop from Addison to either of those guys.
  20. Addison for Engram/Hurst or Norwell/Hernandez or Sanders.
  21. utilize the edges, play action roll out, crossing routes, spread the field, make the d account for allen;s legs
  22. I would say yes and no. At every level this changes and there are always those that adjust faster than others. What also happens is some dont get the same opportunities. That is why you will see guys blossom a few years into careers or even older guys that seemingly are way better. But the "it" factor concept? Not sure how real it is at the pro level. Most of the guys that get this far have or had the it factor. I think it becomes being in the right situation more often than not. And I will end with - have you ever heard from players or coaches that player xyz sucks, doesn't have it, etc. No. Its always glowing reviews. We heard it from EJ Manuel to Nate Peterman and basically everyone else.
  23. Sanders - 4.49 vs DS 4.66 and Moss 4.7. That is a big difference. And Sanders is listed at 211 which is heavier than both of them.
  24. Henry long TD call still pisses me off. Multiple holds and a block in the back. Especially since they call back the two Bills TD's on similar holds that they let slide on Henry's run.
